    They were awesome and even though they couldn't help strap the refrigerator down they talked us through it and helped out as much as they could

    We were in the Little Rock store yesterday. We could not get any help. Employees actually turned and walked away. This is very similiar to the Pine Bluff store. I felt this was an isolated problem. Apparently not???

    This location sold me an EGO shop vac that was missing the battery. When I tried to return it they gave me merchandise credit instead of exchanging the device. The merchandise credit can only be used in store, so I cannot even make up for their mistake by trying to purchase it online. They had other opportunities to make it right (give me a battery; refund actual money), but chose not to and told me I was stuck with a $300 piece of cardboard only good in store. Update, given the perfunctory reply from Lowes. This is what I shared with the Lowes feedback survey. I did call, and no one helped. "I picked up the shop vac on Black Friday and I did not find out it was missing the battery until Christmas. Lowe's online told me to bring it in for an exchange and if there were none at West Little Rock, then I could exchange it for one online with free shipping. I brought it in, customer service was kind, but they indicated there were none in stock. They provided me store credit to purchase it online. Before leaving the parking lot, I tried to redeem it online and was informed store credit is for in store use only. I trusted that a Lowes associate would not lead me astray by providing an option that would not work, but sure enough it said on the piece of cardboard I received that it is not able to be used online. Four associates tried to figure out what to do, but ultimately told me I was stuck with a $300+ piece of cardboard, they refused to refund my money, no one would just give me the missing 5ah battery, and they told me the only option was buy something else or drive an hour to a store that had one. I spent an hour with Lowes chat thereafter and then a live call after that to try to find a solution. At one point, the person online said they were going to get the store credit information and have the product delivered. Then it was going to cost $80 to be delivered. Then, suddenly, they were unable to help. The person I spoke to said I could reach out to EGO... for a product I already returned. She confirmed I was stuck. I called the store again and after 3 calls and more waiting I finally got a manager. She was very rude and condescending, telling me I received my money and that it was clear store credit was not good online, completely dismissing that her associate was the one who told me to take the route I did. She then told me I was giving her attitude and hung up on me, despite me repeating that I just needed help. I called again to get her name, but I was instead directed to a calm man who, despite confirming Lowes screwed me over, at least did not make me feel like trash. I spent 4-5 hours on a day I took off to try to find a way to get my Christmas gift, or at least get my money back, just to be treated poorly by Lowes. I used to be a loyal customer, but I have never been treated this way by any company ever. Merry Christmas..."

    I want to take a moment to recognize an exceptional Lowe’s team member named Jackie, who truly went above and beyond in a way you don’t see every day. While I was there, an elderly customer became sick in the bathroom. Jackie stepped in immediately with compassion, patience, and a genuine smile. She gathered supplies, helped them get cleaned up, and made sure they were safely assisted to their car—all while treating them with dignity and kindness. What stood out most was that she didn’t stop there: she also made sure they were still able to purchase their Christmas tree, turning what could have been a very upsetting experience into one filled with care and humanity. Jackie didn’t have to do any of this—but she chose to. Her actions reflected true character, empathy, and what customer service should look like. The world truly needs more people like her, and Lowe’s is lucky to have someone who cares so deeply. Thank you, Jackie, for restoring a little faith in humanity.
