- GMGeorge MathewsDec 1, 20231.0The kiosks are klunky and hard to use, and they try to upsell you several times before copying your key. You can only copy and pay for one key at at time. If you need to copy multiple keys it is an even bigger PITA. Lowe's should get rid of these kiosks and go back to having actual people perform actual customer service. Edit: In all fairness my main frustration here isn't with Minute Key, it is with Lowe's lack up customer service. I needed to make multiple copies of multiple keys, the kiosk was clearly not the best option, but I couldn't get any Lowe's employees to help me. If I had only needed a single key the kiosk would have been fine, and a better experience. I did get my keys made, and they did work just fine. However, it does take longer than a minute by the time you say "no" to all the upsell options, even for a single key.

After I had ordered 2 keys, it was unclear if you meant my second key would be free or I had to order a third key to be the free key. I ended up with 3 keys and spent $8 when I only needed 2. Wish I would have ordered 1 key for $4 and known the second key would be the free key.
