    Upon arriving at the returns counter around 3pm on Saturday, February 14, 2026, Cashier immediately informed me that, "Clearance is not returnable" after glancing at my cart. I stated that I had returned some clearance items from the same purchase as recently as January 19. Cashier then stated that the policy had recently changed, and referred me to a sign on the wall that she said I should have read before buying. The sign said NOTHING about clearance items not being returnable. I told Cashier that Lowe's policy did not exclude clearance items from being returned and asked her to try despite her saying "the system" wouldn't let her process the return. Cashier was unable to find the purchase even after being shown the online receipt from Lowes.Com, nor could she locate it by using my credit card. Cashier stated that the merchandise was no longer carried in store - not true - an online search showed 4 items in stock. Cashier stated that the items were no longer carried by Lowes - not true - items are still for sale online. Casher then stated that Lowe's online is totally different than Lowe's instore. (This is only a sampling of the lies and deflection that were manifested by this lazy person who obviously didn't want to do her job.) I asked to speak to someone with a "can do" attitude. Cashier stated that the store manager was the only one who could help and he had just left for lunch and wouldn't be back for 2 hours. Soon after this Cashier just walked off without any explanation, and I did not see her again. I asked the next person if someone else could help. The assistant store manager soon appeared and was able to locate almost all of the return items in the system using the information I provided. He did a fantastic, professional, and complete job. I was not asking for any policy exceptions or anything unusual. Yet, the Cashier refused to do her job and repeatedly lied to me about store policies, sign verbiage, and the availability of someone who would actually take care of business. The store manager was briefly involved before leaving for his 2 hour lunch without making sure the situation was resolved. Apparently he thought her performance was adequate. But it was the worst customer service experience I have had in years.

    I like this Lowe's store we came here to get a gallon of paint and the staff is very friendly Fayetteville needed something like this even though they got a store on zion road Fayetteville needed two Lowe's stores because there are lots of houses in the area

    Signed up for a water consultation from Moore water and air while I was in the store with a promise of a $20 Lowe’s gift card(they did not follow through with this) Sales representative came to my house with a sales pitch of a $10,000 system (he was very nice and respectful). The selling point in the store to have my water tested was to receive the gift card. If they can’t follow through on that I can’t imagine what it would’ve been like to purchase their outrageously priced water softener. My complaint with Lowe’s is that they should do more vetting on who they partner with and if the partner is going to promise something that they deliver on that promise. Disappointing.

    Lied several times about having generators in stock or getting any shipment in when the snow storm preparations were happening, called every other store and they atleast bothered to try and put eyes on product before saying whether or not they had anything. QUIT LYING
