- AWAndrew WhiteOct 9, 20251.0We purchased five appliances for our new build from this store and two of them (washer/dryer and dishwasher) were lemons--one before we even unboxed it (it had been crushed by a fork lift) and one after its first use once the house was finished. Management was completely indifferent and the appliance team flippantly shrugged when we asked for a refund because the 30-day window had lapsed. We obviously had no control over that since construction on the house hit the normal speed bumps before the dishwasher could be used. The net effect was Lowe's took thousands of dollars from our family, gave us products that didn't work, and flipped us the proverbial bird when we asked for our money to be returned. I've had multiple contractors tell me that Lowe's is just a poorly-run company now and has been for a while. This particular store is emblematic of their customer-last corporate vision.
