- LTLeslie TaylorApr 20, 20261.0I called Minute Key and was quoted $209 to unlock my car and make a key. Sounded straightforward. They sent a locksmith who could only unlock the door he could NOT make a key. After unlocking it, he tried to charge $75, then said I’d need to pay another $175 for someone else to come make the key. That already didn’t add up… but it gets worse. After unlocking my car, the locksmith locked my doors back and ran off. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. When I called the office back, the representative was extremely rude, yelling and saying those are “two separate services.” If that’s the case, why quote them together and send someone who can’t complete the full job? This whole experience was misleading, chaotic, and disrespectful. 0/10 – would not recommend.
