    Susan was the MVP of our visit! We’re completely redoing a half bath and had LOTS of questions and she really went above and beyond for us. Absolutely will be coming back because of her customer service.

    Not a bad store. I go to several different Lowe's due to being a plumber having to get parts. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the layout. This one's layout is flipped so every time I'm in there, I get lost trying to find what I need. Not much can be done about the layout in the store so I realize improvement would be difficult. I only go to this store if I'm doing a job in South Huntsville. I wouldn't go there otherwise. As far as a it being a quick visit, no Lowe's is a quick visit unless you know what you're getting & where it's at in the store.

    We found a bathtub in a open and damaged box and asked for a discount. Was told by manager that it was old inventory, it was dirty bc its a dusty store, and it was not a return bc lowes does not do returns on bathtubs. She then asked what a left drain and right drain was (to her co worker, whispered but we heard.) Pics below state lowes discount policy on damaged and opened boxes. (They honor them if the merhandise has the stated probs listed on the damaged discount section and the discount can be from 10 to 30 %). The app also states you can do return on bathtubs as long as it follows return policy. So after we are armed with this info, my boyfriend goes back in and im on his phone so I can hear everything I stayed in truck. He asks again showing her the policies which she then lies again and says she cant discount a new tub. But first when asked it was old inventory. Then she said that the policy he was showing her on the lowes official website was for compare price policy. That doesnt even make sense and that's not what it says. Finally she takes 50 off the price being 14.33 percent off. He's happy. Then asked if he liked getting his blood pressure up, which location did he work at (he had his work uniform on) for a different company not lowes just FYI. He didnt give right location bc um no then asked why we even come to this one. Not to mention the attitude she had both times was unreal. I would not have her working in any customer service position, especially when she didnt know any of the policies. I can assume by being a loyal customer of lowes (this use to be our fav) that a manager would know atleast the basics of each department. Askin the location of my boyfriend's job (his name is embroidered on the front btw) after having a nasty attitude and arguing him down about the policies (which we pulled up on the offical website and showed her) did not sit right with him. When we come to this one if she is working we are walking straight back out. Maybe some serious customer service training and classes on the policies should be required and quizzed to make sure it was retained if not already? Honestly we both agree we know its not up to us but we work with the public i am a supervisor for a retirement community, she should really be asked to step down or let go bc i can only see this type of person getting worse with time. I have had the same probs arise in my department before.These employees and managers rep this company when they clock in and i dont think Lowes wants that to be thier repersentation. It's allot more but word count on the Google reviews are only 4000 so I m literally cutting the worst experience we have had there short. I do know that the general manager is a man so I know this was not the general but she is a manager (shift or assistant?) Didnt even have a vest or name tag on. Even when she was paged she walked over and let it be known body language included she didnt want to even talk to us. This happened today 2/8/26. The time was around 4 o'clock the reciept says we checked out at 16:31.

    The Valspar paint here is better than the Sherwin Williams store. The team is always willing to assist and troubleshoot with your needs. If they don't know how they will find a colleague who will.
