constant delays on orders. never shows up when the time frame says are supposed to, won’t even show up on those days period. bad customer service to get the issues on my stuff fixed. last time i called the worker stated that they “didn’t know how to do it” and would “call back later when they fixed it” and never called back nor fixed the issue.

Service has gotten a lot better. There are still some rude employees that run from you when you need assistance. One particular cashier will continue to talk on her phone the entire time she is checking you out. She doesn't show any customer service skills what so ever. The last time I bought paint, we had someone paged to the dept 3 different times. I had to call customer service while standing at the counter in order to get assistance at the counter. the associate that helped was very rude and acted like she was irritated we were buying paint and she had to do something.

Review: Extremely frustrating experience. No matter where you go in the store — garden center, customer service, or the regular checkout — expect long waits. I waited over 20 minutes just to complete a simple transaction that should have taken less than 10. They advertise products online that they don’t even use or carry in the store, which just wastes customers’ time. On top of that, the staff clearly aren’t trained well, seem overwhelmed, and don’t have the authority to make even small transaction adjustments that would easily streamline the process. The whole place feels short-staffed and disorganized. No one wants to stand in line for 20+ minutes for something that should be quick and simple. Very frustrating experience.

Horrible Location for Delivery Servicing & overall Terrible management standards! I have a Pro Account and purchased a next day delivery for a job but the order had been disregarded and placed on a 2-day float around between Trussville location & Fultondale location to determine who would even fulfill the order. Trussville manager stated that because they didn't have one item, "the system" kicked it to the nearest store which happen to be Fultondale. I reached out to them and was greeted highly disrespectfully by the associate then manager despite my general concern for my business order. Moving forward, I was continously led to speak with different managers(3 in total and each supposedly higher than the next) and they all were ferociously aggressive and not quite respectful to the situation at hand. I proceeded to ask them to cancel the order but none of them had the authority to do so saying that "it was too late, it's scheduled for tomorrow". Just an FYI to the REAL expectancy when dealing with delivery with this store or even Trussville. Save yourself the time by either picking them up yourself or choose Home Depot for a smoother and more reliable delivery service. Better customer service and associates that know their store there also. This is literally the cheapest option all around, including service and materials, that you can get. Forewarned!!!!

This location is possibly the worst store I’ve ever been inside. Every time I’ve visited I’m left confused as to how they’re still open. The service is basically non-existent, and when you do try to work with an associate and ask for help you don’t really get answers. Today was my final straw with them. I placed an order for blinds and installation a few weeks ago but when the blinds were available for pick up no one informed the installer or myself that their machine to cut them was down. So a waste of time and gas for the installer who came to install them today. We only found out that there was an issue when the installer left my house and went to Lowe’s to ask about them. I went to the store myself to see if I could find a solution as I was on hold for 30+ minutes prior and got zero help. I waited in the blinds department for over 30 minutes buzzing for help and no one came. 5-6 different employees walked near me, made eye contact, and still didn’t offer to help. I understand if they don’t work in that particular department, but watching them just ignore someone who clearly needed help was insane. I finally went to customer service and picked up the blinds I’d already paid for that were basically useless until cut. I had to drive to the Hoover location to get them cut to size and now who knows when I’ll be able to get back on the installer’s schedule. The installer has been great! But the Fultondale Lowe’s absolutely has not been. I’ve never had a good experience with this store for anything. For any future home projects I have I’ll find other stores to buy from. There’s no way I’ll ever come back to this location after today’s fiasco.
