- TTTonya TerryMay 1, 20265.0We was in Lowe's of Decatur Al today 5-1-2026 around 10:45 am and a young lady named Tristan helped us we needed a piece of artificial grass about 12 inches wide to fix our daughter's headstone for decoration this weekend she was a very nice and polite young lady she asked her manager if she could give us the grass for free and he agreed then she gave us a big hug and we went on our way ...Tristan if you see this I just want you to know how thankful we are for you❤️

I’ve been a contractor/handyman/landscaper in my area for 37 yrs. A few hours ago I was in your Decatur location and was more than taken back by the way I heard a gentleman manager speak to his coworkers with such disrespect and entitlement that I noticed other customers and employees looking shocked at the way a young man named Billy also a store manager spoke to his coworkers in the middle of the store. I am not sure he knows more than just the person he was speaking to could hear him but he did not represent himself or your company very well. I stay out of situations like this but it was so upsetting for me that after a few hours I am still upset and took to social media about what I witnessed. I even stated to my employee there with me that this young man named Billy was rude, belittling, demanding, and thought he was so much smarter than those he should consider teammates. A lot of them being young ladies. That he was having to demand associates from other areas to come help him bc he had no one that wanted to work under him and that it seemed like they had all quit. If he was having a bad day bc we all have them, he did a poor job at representing himself and your company today. My experience will keep me from this location to the point I will just frequent the others instead of the Decatur one. I feel very upset for his coworkers and the customers he embarrassed with his attitude. Lowe’s might want to retrain him reminding him that body language and tone are what your customers hear and see.
