THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE MOST FRUSTRATING AND AGGRAVATING EXPERIENCES EVER WITH A RETAIL STORE!
We recently purchased a home that was in desperate need of some updating. So one of our first items to check off was updating the appliances. We bought a fridge, stove, and dishwasher and couldn’t have been happier that our lives were about to be easier with new appliances. Well long story short, it’s been an absolute nightmare with our fridge. To start, we bought a Frigidaire and the delivery was rough. The delivery got delayed 5 HOURS (past 9:30 pm) and no one notified us. We had to do the legwork ourselves, and the information we received wasn’t helpful. We had a plumber on standby that we had to send home AND STILL PAY FOR HIS TIME because of the delay and lack of communication. When the fridge finally got here, it was a little too big for our fitting, but the delivery team tried to shove it in the gap causing damage to the fridge and our crown molding. This led to us having to go up to the store and try to get this whole thing fixed. Jeff, the assistant manager who helped us the first time, was more than reasonable and helpful, set up a pick up for the old fridge and delivery for a new fridge. This process happened AGAIN with the second fridge! We had the same plumber on standby just to have to send him home and PAY AGAIN because the delivery was late WITH NO COMMUNICATION. It showed up 3 hours late (passed 9:30 pm). The guys delivered it and helped install for our trouble, just for us to realize the doors were misaligned and there’s a dent in the side. We had to call again to get someone to come out and look at the defective doors. The repair guy came out today and told us that the bracket was slightly bent and the holes holding the bracket are misaligned. Therefore the fridge is defective and there’s nothing he can do. Everyone who has assisted us up to this point has been helpful and accommodating, but it there comes a point where you just want things done right. Really disappointed and wish we would have gone with another store. Not worth the headache!!!

If I could give them zero stars I would. Here's what's going on.
UPDATE 11/20/2025
First I want to note a mistake I made in the review below. It wasn't the delivery hub people I spoke to it was the Technolgy Hub. With that said, guess where the phone number in the response for this review from Lowes takes you if called? You got it, the Technology Hub. I called it and got the same run around. They said it would be delivered today by 7pm CST. Well, it is now 7:23pm and no washer and dryer. Tracking once again says, delayed but we are working on it. What's it going to take to get my washer and dryer?
I ordered a new washer and dryer plus installation online through Lowes. I received an email saying my delivery would be yesterday between 4-8pm. I also received tracking information. So I made preparations to get the new washer and dryer. I made sure someone would be home when it arrived. I removed our old washer and dryer from the laundry room to the garage. I even took off the door from the hinges to make it easier to get the washer and dryer into the room. Ready and waiting for the new units to be delivered and installed.
I regularly checked the status of the delivery through the tracking. It even showed how many stops they had left before they reached me. Then it changed to "Delivery is delayed, but we are working on it." I never received anymore information about where my washer and dryer were. I was frustrated to say the least.
So first, I did an online chat. The best they could tell me is just wait 24 hours to see if it shows up. How many people can do that? I have to make arrangements just to make sure someone is here for delivery!!
I wasn't satisfied with their answer so I called and talked to a real person in customer service. They couldn't tell me where my delivery was so they said we'll just reschedule your delivery for another day, which I didn''t agree to, but they did it anyway without my knowledge. I asked if they could send me to someone I could personally talk to about my delivery, so they connected me to the delivery hub.
The man at the delivery hub tried to find out where my delivery was and he couldn't figure it out. He did tell me it looks like the order was being edited and then he said, the delivery date was changed. Customer service did this without me agreeing to it. I was told by the man at the delivery hub in Charlette, NC that there was nothing he could tell me or nothing he could do about it. I said, well then I need to talk to someone in customer service. He said, they will just send me back to him. This is insane!
I still have no idea when I'll get my appliances. $2500 dollars worth, by the way, and it's already been charged to my account.
My advice to anyone out there looking to purchase through Lowes online, don't do it!

I had a return and a pickup. The young girl at return desk had a attitude it was like everyone that had a return came to make her day miserable. I had a pickup and was at the desk for about 20 mins. Waiting for help to find someone to bring it from the back. The whole time this young girl treated customers like they were bothering her. A fellow employee ask if stuff in cart the returns were to be restocked and with a attitude " I don't know " This whole time was disrespectful and to be so young and be that mean. If you don't like your job stop. Letting her act like that is not good for business.

We have been building a house for the past year. Every time we order pick items, something is wrong. The most recent in a long line of errors surrounds plumbing items. We bought many items as power deals on Lowe’s rewards. This saved us hundreds of dollars on several fixture including Kohler toilets and sinks. Even though they were on sale, they only had two of a certain one at Daphne. They would have the order whole ready in two days. When I picked it up, they tried to give my pick-up person 2 round and 2 oval. I had to return them and picked up the correct ones at a Pensacola store ready 20 min later. We also bought our Kohler toilets on sale three months early. The sale was a Flash sale, so we bought a set that was clearly opened, but were reassured by the plumbing employee that he opened the box and verified all the parts were there and fixtures were not damaged. We have also purchased a number of Sandover fixtures, a Lowe’s exclusive line of Delta in brushed nickel faucets. We have bought them as available, but the specialty parts are often back-ordered. I understand supply chain. I bought a full tub set to be picked up. We are now on the last legs of our build. My husband and I bought two closet sets which were mispriced by $59 (each). Ironically, as he was dropping them off the same day at the build site, our plumber was installing the Kohler faucet and toilets. One of the 3 toilet sets was missing the hardware. These are $400 toilets that have a hidden attachment system. My husband went to the store immediately with copy of receipt. The manager on duty, “T” wanted him to buy another toilet, take what we needed and return the rest. Why? So they can tape up another box and the next poor victim can’t catch a break either? And who has a spare $440 to buy another toilet. The questions of just getting replacement bolts perplexed the plumbing staff to the point they called someone who was off duty to determine what size should be purchased. My husband had to BUY the needed bolts. In the last 6 months, between supplies, fixtures and appliances, we have spent over $12k and he had to BUY bolts to replace missing pieces. Here’s where it’s even better- he takes the bolts to plumber who is now making overtime because materials were not on site. We are advised that the tub set (which is a Lowes exclusive) is missing the shower head. Examination of the box shows extra box tape. I had to go to the store today, Sunday, hoping one of the two it showed in stock has the missing pieces. That return actually went well. The manager Michelle was excellent.We will be buying any final items from another location or orange box. Incidentally, after three attempts to purchase a list of Kraftmaid cabinets without needing measure or install for a home office, I purchased them at the orange box for about $4k. They gave me a discount just for building a home. They delivered at no charge.
We moved to Daphne 22 years ago and when they built the store, we were ecstatic, as Lowe’s has always been our home improvement store of choice. Having bought and sold two previous homes, we have watched a slow decline of the quality of Daphne Lowe’s. Now, with the preparation of our prior home for sale and this building of our dream home, I no longer look to Lowe’s of Daphne as our store. It’s the last place I go if no other local or box can meet my needs, even if I pay a few dollars more. My time is worth it.

I entered Lowe’s through the South door. I was not greeted, the employees that I passed did not make eye contact with me and a couple of them looked angry.
I was doing my best to find the items that I needed, definitely walking in circles.
I had previously decided that I was not going to shop at Lowe’s anymore because of a problem that I had with the credit card that I had opened and quickly closed . But somehow, here I was.
I had just worked two days on the surgical floor and I was completely exhausted.
So here I am, on my day off, trying to take care of my responsibilities. I have to admit, I was feeling a bit saddened by the state of the world. I remember a time when you would walk into a store and people were smiling and eager to help. That is not the environment that I was in, until I met Olivia. I was in front of the north door near the lumber. I was plotting out, in my head, the next process of how I was going to find the next item that I needed. Olivia approached me and asked me if I needed help. I told her I knew what I needed, but I didn’t know if there was such a thing. She stood in front of me, smiling, and listening to me. When I finished explaining it to her, she smiled and said that she would take me to someone that knew more than she did about how to help me. She walked me over to a desk and explained to the lady what I needed. The nice lady told me what I needed, and where I could find it. As I turned, Olivia, still smiling, said,” where did you get your glasses? I love your glasses. They are beautiful.” I told her and thanked her. We had a little bit more of a conversation and she said, “ come back here when you get your items, and I will check you out!”
On my walk to get the item and on my walk back, I couldn’t help but think about the beautiful light that Olivia is. Olivia wasn’t standing in a corner, looking at her phone. Olivia didn’t have her head down, angry about the state of the world, which is what I was doing. Olivia had her eyes open, she was present in her job, not taking advantage of a slight lull in activity, she was awake, connected and interested in participating and helping others.
She noticed that I needed help and she approached me with a smile, with kindness and enthusiasm.
What Olivia did was go above and beyond what was expected of her. She recognized a need, she didn’t just solve my problem, she changed the way that I felt about the position that I was in. I am expressing all of this in hopes that you all can see in Olivia what I did. I hope that you reward her well for what she brings to your store.
I hope that Olivia knows how special she is, and that she never stops caring for people, no matter where she is.
And when you give her kudos for the amazing job she’s done, tell her I said she should become a nurse. She has what it takes, the ability recognize a need, come up with a solution and make others feel comfortable and cared for.
And, because of her, I’m not going to give up on Lowe’s. I answered the survey and the responses would’ve all been very low, but because of her all of my answers were given the highest marks.
