This store is horrible to deal with. You have to fight for warranty that you pay for and the customer service is absolute trash! We will never shop at the brick ever again! I highly recommend NOT going there and I will be sharing my experience with everyone I know and showing the emails etc. of how we were treated.

In the past, my family and I have had good experiences with the Brick, but that was not the case today. My parents ordered a refrigerator from the Brick, and were told they would deliver it, remove the exterior packaging, level it, and install it in place. My mother is a stage 4 cancer patient, and we specifically requested this so she would not have to lift and install it herself, and we we're told this would not be a problem.
The fridge was delivered earlier today, and the delivery drivers left it in her entry way, refused to remove the exterior packaging, move it, or install it for her, and left her to deal with it by herself. To rectify this situation, I called the brick and was told that "We would never promise this, and that was never said" and essentially was called a liar by the person I spoke with on the phone.
I took this screenshot on the Brick's website today, and it says that "Appliances will be removed from packaging, put in place as required, levelled and units will be plugged in. Any interior packaging will not be removed. Refrigerators and freezers should not be turned on until at least 1 hour after delivery. Water or gas hook-ups will be customers’ responsibility." The Brick in Whitecourt did not follow their own policy, and when called out on it, they instead told me I was a liar.
I will never purchase another item from the Brick, and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about our experience today. Shame on you, Whitecourt Brick!

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.

An extended warranty can be added during the purchase process in store or online. Or if you've already completed an online order and decided you want to add a warranty, you can visit a Brick store to purchase a warranty up to 30 days after receiving your product. You can add a warranty to a product during the first step of the online checkout process. When you check out, you'll be asked if you want to add a warranty to each eligible product. You can either select 'Protect All Products' at the top of the warranty section, or specify which level of coverage you want for each individual product. When you have selected the preferred warranty for your item(s), click the 'Continue' button in the lower right corner of the page to continue with the checkout process. Our Premium Delivery Service is available in most areas. For areas not served by The Brick's delivery team, we contract third-party courier and shipping companies.
