    What is the cell phone policy for employees at Rona? I entered the store at the Pro entrance where Barb at the til was too busy texting on her cell phone to greet me or to ask if she could help me. When I returned to exit the store ten minutes later she was still on her phone texting. This is not the first time this has occurred with the same person. I’m sure there’s a time and place for this activity. Poor service and image!!! No excuses…Dump the phones and make yourselves useful!!!

    Went in to buy a smoker spent about half an hour in the store. Felt like the employees were genuinely avoiding me, and not even trying to hide it. Will not be back.

    I walked around this entire store and there was not one employee on the sales floor, I was looking for a box fan and they have the fans spread out through the entire store. I have up and got a cheap fan because it's stupid having to search an entire store when they should out the fans in the seasonal section and make it easier for people to find. Then I find all 6 staff up front giggling and barely doing any work. I've worked in retail and I know there's always customers to help! The cashier didn't even ask if I found everything, I was going to mention something about how I struggled to find what I wanted but her attitude was cold and not friendly.

    I have done to special orders through RONA+ to keep it Canadian where possible. They save me thousands of dollars combined on both orders as compare to the orange blob. The staff (Hanan, Braeden and Hayley) were so willing to assist you and not run and hide in the next aisle. They were able to order normal and custom made access panels for an Apartment Condo my mother lives in from a Canadian Supplier and as well save us a ton of automated window blinds from the whole condo which from Levolor top notch brand name for blinds, Not Canadian Company but at least bought through a Canadian Company. #ElbowsUp

    On Thursday evening my wife and I stopped in to have a look at some deck chairs that were on clearance. After about 15 minutes the sales associate finally located them and took us to see them as they were out side in the garden center. We'll we were both shocked to see these chair. Literally cover in bird poo. My wife wanted to be able to sit on them before buying but no way that was going to happen. Was one of the grosses thing we'd ever seen. And at that point the sales gal just seemed to not care at all. Like she didn't care whether she sold anything. No offer to have them cleaned. Worst customer service we have had in years. Not sure if we will ever set foot again in this store. In these days Rona must be making big dollars as they didn't want our money. Would have been 6 of these chairs and table amounting to about $600.00 or more. Lots of other stores will gladly take my money.
