    Worst customer service!!? I Purchased 2 cabinets online. Picked them up and took them home. Upon inspection the cabinets were damaged. I brought them back to the store early one morning 7am, and the lady at the desk claimed she was unable to access her computer at that time. Trouble logging in. She copied my receipt and Informed me that the return would be issued as soon as she was able. Because I was rushed to get my child to her volleyball game in Lacombe, I left the cabinets behind and went on my way...TRUSTING that Rona would fulfill their word, being a reputable chain store. I never recieved the refund. When I contacted the store, I was hung up on when I disputed their claims that the 2 cabinets were not left at the store. (What would I want with damaged cabinets). After getting nowhere with customer service I chose to contact my credit card to dispute the payment. I lost that dispute because Rona has a signed paper that I picked up the cabinets (which I did) but no signed paper that I returned the cabinets. So I again tried to deal with customer service and again, I got no where. Now I'm out 570 dollars for two broken cabinets that I do not even have, because I returned them. Yea, my bad... I took the copy of the receipt that was NOT signed by the store employee. But again, being a reputable chain store I did not think this would occur. This store is the worse I've ever dealt with. Now I'm out almost 600 dollars because the employee did not do her job correctly. I have photos of the damaged cabinets as proof that they were in fact damaged, and because they're damaged they serve no purpose to me. Yet they argue with me that I did not return these cabinets because their employee didn't do their job correctly I'm left on the hook Edit. After receiving a reply asking me to call their customer service number I've done so and I'm still getting the runaround. All I've done is make phone call after phone call email after email and I'm still not getting anywhere

    Great experience at the local hardware store. Clean, organized and bright store with lots of inventory. Decently priced, conveniently located, lots of parking.

    I keep wanting to like this place, partly to support Canadian, but it keeps making that difficult. The two reviews posted earlier are from people on our team, and after hearing the same issues come up internally, it’s clear this isn’t a one-off. Help is hard to find, and follow-through is even harder. Credit where it’s due, the older gentleman in key cutting who usually wears a ball cap is consistently friendly and helpful, which makes him the exception. At some point you stop hoping things improve and just change suppliers. That’s where we’re at.

    Not a great experience. Stopped in for what should’ve been a quick, routine pickup and spent more time than I should have trying to track someone down for help. When I finally did, I was told the saw was broken and basically advised to work around it myself. I get that things break, but that’s not really a solution, especially in a store that’s meant to support people actually building things. Overall, the staff felt disengaged and pretty uninterested in being helpful. Plenty of other places manage this better, so I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
