Ordered a bed from this store and while the process with the salesman, Monty in the store, was good, the rest of the process has not been. The bed was delivered a week late. on the original delivery date, I called the store to ask what time to expect the delivery. They said that the bed was not at their store yet and talked about 5 different days/times it could be delivered. Finally after a while we got a concrete day. Ok, great. the day comes around and the delivery drivers are an hour behind what we were told. frustrating but whatever. Then when the bed is being delivered the topic of where the old one will go comes up. I say we agreed on old bed removal with the salesman. the store got called and the salesman “dealt with it” and said the delivery drivers would come back that afternoon. no one came back. no communication from the store.
the next day i called and asked why it was still here. they gave me the run around and said it would be picked up the next day between 9 and noon. it was agreed upon after i told the person i was speaking with that this is unacceptable. it’s not something we just have room to keep around and not something we could get rid of ourselves at this time.
next day noon rolls around and guess what? still no delivery drivers. so 3 days of dealing with people who either cannot communicate with each other at a furniture store or people who cannot uphold the other end of a deal. some words were shared and they said THE NEXT DAY it will be picked up. so this has been pushed 4 days. 4 days for a queen sized bed and boxspring to be removed when it was supposed to happen when the new bed got delivered.
the crazy thing is, this also happened 5 years prior. a new bed was bought, and the day of the delivery we were told the salesman, dont know the name anymore, left picking up the old mattress off the invoice. the delivery drivers took it that day anyways, thankfully. so what changed? why was this time such a runaround? honestly as faithful customers to this store it is completely unfair and nothing will ever be purchased there again. there was no compensation either, and it seems the only solution is to just keep pushing it back. i will update my review if it is actually picked up tomorrow.
update: bed was finally picked up on day 3 on time. changed stars to reflect.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.

An extended warranty can be added during the purchase process in store or online. Or if you've already completed an online order and decided you want to add a warranty, you can visit a Brick store to purchase a warranty up to 30 days after receiving your product. You can add a warranty to a product during the first step of the online checkout process. When you check out, you'll be asked if you want to add a warranty to each eligible product. You can either select 'Protect All Products' at the top of the warranty section, or specify which level of coverage you want for each individual product. When you have selected the preferred warranty for your item(s), click the 'Continue' button in the lower right corner of the page to continue with the checkout process. Where does The Brick deliver?
Our Premium Delivery Service is available in most areas. For areas not served by The Brick's delivery team, we contract third-party courier and shipping companies. Some products can also be shipped via Canada Post's shipping service. The Brick does not currently deliver or ship to anywhere in the United States, and online transactions from American customers cannot be accepted at this time.
