If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with The Brick has been incredibly frustrating.
I purchased a “brand new” floor model couch that I inspected in store, everything was solid. After delivery, the arm is suddenly loose and clearly defective.
I filed a warranty claim, and it was denied. No accountability, no real solution.
Instead, they offered $100 back or $150 in store credit, then a $200 in store credit after they declined the warranty claim. Which makes no sense when I won’t be shopping here again. That’s not a fix, it’s an insult.
This is a brand new purchase. I shouldn’t be dealing with damage immediately or fighting to have it addressed.
I will not be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else does either. If this is the level of support management stands behind, that says everything.

Went with my friend as she wanted to purchase a new bed. I was also in the market but wanted to see what her experience would be like.
We wandered the store for about 20 minutes, seeing no one. When the lady did finally approach, she seemed very disinterested, as though we were time wasters. My friend asked her a series of questions to which she answered by reading off the placards by each bed. At this point l am unimpressed with the " service " so far.
My friend made her selection, completed the transaction at the desk for purchase and delivery, that also included the removal of rhe old box spring and matteress. On several ocasions she mentioned to the sales lady that the delivery/ pickup would include the box spring as well as matteress. She was sold a bag to place the matteress in, but was told that the box spring did not need to be bagged.
Fast forward to delivery and the delivery team refusing the box spring because it was not bagged. My friend went back to the store and confronted the lady, who turned out to be an owner, she point blank lied, said my friend never mentioned a box spring and then claimed she had told my friend she would need a bag for it as well. The "best" the owner could do is sell her another bag for the box spring and l am betting the pick up would be charged to my friend as well.
She left the store most unhappy and arranged for a neighbour to take the box spring to the dump. I suggested she fill in the customer satisfaction survey and contact corporate.
I myself was very unimpressed by the ownerd complete lack of interest in severing my friend or even trying to find a solution to the issue.
I will be spendingb my money for new bedroom furnishings elsewhere.
If you are looking for anything in home furnishings l strongly recommend you look any where but The Brick in Ft Saskatchewan.
Zero service and lying owners do not make for a good experience.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.

How do I add an extended warranty to my product?
An extended warranty can be added during the purchase process in store or online. Or if you've already completed an online order and decided you want to add a warranty, you can visit a Brick store to purchase a warranty up to 30 days after receiving your product. You can add a warranty to a product during the first step of the online checkout process. When you check out, you'll be asked if you want to add a warranty to each eligible product. You can either select 'Protect All Products' at the top of the warranty section, or specify which level of coverage you want for each individual product. When you have selected the preferred warranty for your item(s), click the 'Continue' button in the lower right corner of the page to continue with the checkout process. Where does The Brick deliver?
Our Premium Delivery Service is available in most areas. For areas not served by The Brick's delivery team, we contract third-party courier and shipping companies. Some products can also be shipped via Canada Post's shipping service. The Brick does not currently deliver or ship to anywhere in the United States, and online transactions from American customers cannot be accepted at this time.
