Response to reply: I have already reached out and was told nothing else will be done
I purchased a fridge from The Brick at the beginning of 2023 and made it clear to the salesperson that it was for business use. I was then sold an extended warranty, which gave me peace of mind at the time.
Fast forward to now—the fridge has stopped working. A technician was sent out to diagnose it, only for me to be told that because the unit is in a commercial building, the warranty would not be honored. This was never explained at the time of purchase.
Since then, I’ve had to pay out of pocket for multiple service calls. Majority of appliance repair companies won’t even touch a Hi Sense fridge.. I finally found Two separate technicians told me the part couldn’t be sourced. I eventually found the part myself and hired a third technician to install it—only for the fridge to still not work.
At this point, I’m out nearly $500 in service fees and parts that didn’t fix the issue. The Brick has simply refunded the warranty (which should never have been sold to me in the first place) and refuses to provide any further assistance.
Had I known the warranty would not apply, I would not have purchased this fridge. I feel completely misled at the time of sale and very disappointed in how this has been handled. I have tried speaking to someone to be told that it is their busiest time of year and that she will try her best to get the manager to call me back - once they have your money they don’t care about anything else.

The Brick had more choices in our price range than any other place we shopped. We found a beautiful leather love seat with all the options we wanted and none we didn't need, on sale for just over 50% off the regular price, putting it at the top of our budget. Beth work tirelessly for us and showed us absolutely everything they had that was close to or in our budget and had a great depth of knowledge about most of the stock. This was our first time at the Edmonton North location, and we will go there again should we need anything else. It hasn't been delivered yet, but the measurements were just perfect for our little apartment we have just downsized to. Thank you to Beth and The Brick.

Just purchased a new mattress from the north location and Amy was our sales associate.
She was AMAZING! Literally went as far as keeping my 5 year old entertained while she was getting our sale set up. She took her to the back desk, the girls gave her candy & water and she allowed my daughter to help with the paperwork. Aside from that Amy was super helpful, she listened to our requests and wasn’t pushy.

The delivery team was awesome. It was a difficult delivery as the appliances were large and the access path to the walkout was muddier than earlier in the day. They persevered and got it done! Great job!
We have another appliance delivery tomorrow and have modified the path to make it easier - hoping it’s the same team that comes tomorrow as they were awesome and will appreciate the changes. Thank you!

My partner and I came to buy a new washer and dryer set. The set we ended up wanting was discontinued and they sold us the floor model. We were okay with this as they gave us a decent price on the set.
However when we got home and began the set up process we realized they did not give us the screws to mount the units on the pedestals nor did they give us the T-clip brackets to mount the dryer on the $800 pedestals which are now useless.
We reached out to customer service and no one was helpful. The first person just transferred out the call to a sales persons instead of helping, the second person was quite rude and short with us on the phone. I ended the call in hopes to get a new person on the line. End of the story he told us there is nothing they can or will do to help us even though they sold us incomplete sets. Had we known this was the case we would not have bought this set.
Truthfully we are happy this happened as we will not be returning to this brick or possibly any others. Buyer beware!!!

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.

How do I add an extended warranty to my product?
An extended warranty can be added during the purchase process in store or online. Or if you've already completed an online order and decided you want to add a warranty, you can visit a Brick store to purchase a warranty up to 30 days after receiving your product. You can add a warranty to a product during the first step of the online checkout process. When you check out, you'll be asked if you want to add a warranty to each eligible product. You can either select 'Protect All Products' at the top of the warranty section, or specify which level of coverage you want for each individual product. When you have selected the preferred warranty for your item(s), click the 'Continue' button in the lower right corner of the page to continue with the checkout process. Where does The Brick deliver?
Our Premium Delivery Service is available in most areas. For areas not served by The Brick's delivery team, we contract third-party courier and shipping companies. Some products can also be shipped via Canada Post's shipping service. The Brick does not currently deliver or ship to anywhere in the United States, and online transactions from American customers cannot be accepted at this time.
