I had such a wonderful experience at Rona that I feel compelled to share.
About two years ago, I purchased many bags of garden soil, and an employee named Tommy (who is from Taiwan) kindly and proactively helped load everything into my car. His enthusiasm, friendliness, and willingness to help left a lasting impression on me.
Today, I happened to visit the store again and saw him there. It was so nice to recognize a familiar, dedicated face. Tommy continues to provide the same excellent service, and it’s clear he truly cares about customers.
Thank you, Tommy, for your kindness and professionalism. Employees like you make shopping at Rona a great experience!

I had a really frustrating experience with the Minute Key machine here.
The first key I made didn’t work at all. I then contacted customer service and got a free replacement, but the second key still didn’t work either.
In the end, a Rona staff member helped me cut a key manually . it worked perfectly on the first try, and it was even cheaper than using the machine.
Honestly, the value of this machine is terrible. If I had known RONA staff could help cut keys properly, I would never have used this machine in the first place.
RONA itself deserves 5 stars, but the Minute Key machine inside doesn’t even deserve 1 star. It also wasted my time having to contact their customer service just to get a refund.
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend using this machine.

Was in the Crowfoot store about 11 am today went to plumbing section ! Guy sitting not up to much asked him to help me find some parts that weren’t in the isle they were supposed to to be in. He told be go to isle 54.
Went there wasn’t there I came back to him and said can you show me exactly where.
He said I will be with you in ten mins ! ( That is not customer service ! This guy needs a job else where. ). Stopped Mark asked for help 3 minutes later I was walking happily out of the store after paying at a very pleasant cashier ! Who wanted to help

They were friendly, professional, and very helpful in assisting me with my purchase. I especially appreciated that they respected my request not to carry or load the heavy vanity, while still ensuring I had everything I needed to complete my purchase smoothly. Really unhappy with purchase of 4 appliances!!!
Did not realize until after purchase that Costco is THE place to buy appliances….
Here’s Why:

1) warranty is doubled from 1 to 2 years
2) prices are cheaper
3) you get a 600.00 discount for buying 4 appliances
4) when you buy them on an executive membership, you get 2% cash back
Bottom line 2 year warrany and a difference of $801.00!!!!!

Had issues with a brand new fridge that had a broken fan motor mount from the factory and was very loud. Tech came back and replaced the broken part but the fridge is still very loud and drones all night, which I can hear from my bed!!! The Rona store staff refers you to Whirlpool and they refer you to Rona…….annoying to say the least. Costco will always take care of you and returns are simple…..not a chance at Rona!!! DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES AT RONA!!!! I am a senior on a fixed income and in these days of rising costs every penny counts…Thanks Rona for ripping me off…….

I did phone the store manager (Dana) who was very good about following up and subsequently giving me a price difference amount of $325.00 which was a combination of price difference and money that I would have received with the Costco executive card.
