    visited the store today to return tile-leveling wedges with my receipt in hand. Despite that, the customer service representative, Fatima, refused to issue store credit because I didn’t have the original Visa card used for the purchase. She insisted the card must be present. When I asked what happens if the card is cancelled or the account closed, she said store credit would be issued in those situations. This made it unclear why store credit couldn’t be provided now, especially since I had valid proof of purchase. She still refused. This was very inconvenient and frustrating. It means I either risk losing the receipt or must make another trip, which shouldn’t be necessary for a simple return.

    Very bad experience. I purchased a NAPOLEON Freestyle 365 Natural Gas BBQ, which was missing a part when I opened the box. When I contacted the store and spoke with Jonathan, I was informed that the item could not be returned, despite confirming at the time of purchase that it could be returned if parts were missing. The receipt clearly states a 90-day return policy and does not indicate that the item was a final sale. Jonathan further stated that I would need to provide proof that the part was missing and suggested that I contact another store to obtain the part myself. I then reached out to a second RONA location, where I was told a manager would call me back — however, no one ever followed up. This experience has been both frustrating and disappointing, especially given RONA’s reputation for customer service.
