I recently bought a snowblower here, but after one use, it was clear the machine was not efficient. I brought it back within the return policy period, only to be met with a bizarre experience. The staff member behind the counter told me to call the customer support phone number while I was standing right in front of him at the store's actual customer support desk! I used to be a loyal Home Depot customer, but I decided to shop at Rona+ specifically to support a Canadian business. Instead of professional service, I was met with embarrassment and hurdles. They refused to give me a refund and would only provide a store credit note. I will not be making this mistake again—I'll be heading back to Home Depot where returns are handled properly.

Paul, in the appliance department has been especially helpful in working through appliance issues and returns. The general returns and customer service has been hit or miss with how helpful staff are. The plumbing supplies selection is limited and expensive. If you need any pex pipe or fixtures, there are cheaper stores to buy from. I would recommend shopping here for other building supplies though.

Try to avoid going here if you can. Trying to get anyone on the phone in a specific department is near impossible, and asking for help in the store seems like an inconvenience to most employees. I missed going into the store and being greeted by the guys in the pro desk or customer service when you came in and employees that actually wanted to help. I used to frequent this location quite often as it was close to where I live. I really hope this location can pull it together and become the great store that it used to be.
