I live in a 1bedroom bungalow townhouse with a finished basement. My problem was cost. $525.00 for duct cleaning This included my dryer vent, but that alone was $89.00 I would suggest calling around before committing to Alberta Furnace Cleaning. PS: This service does not include a new replacement furnace filter.

We added the dryer vent cleaning to our furnace cleaning package and when we went to use the dryer after it was plugged with a bunch of wet lint so we ended up having to clean it again ourselves (picture attached). It makes me wonder how clean the furnace vents actually are now... Also, the process to get an invoice is a pain which we needed to give to our landlord.

The company usually calls the day before to remind us, but I never received a call, so I phoned this morning to confirm my appointment. I was told they no longer offer furnace tune-ups (even though it’s still listed on their website) and that they had sent my appointment to another company without informing me. As a longtime customer, I expected a courtesy call to let us know about the change so we weren’t left in the dark.
