I was working a high stress job and my husband was home with mom. Having the home instead careworker let him get out of the house or just relax. It was worth every penny. I also had home instead help me out a year later when I had been seriously injured and had as unable to drive. I was living alone then and also preparing for a move. Home Instead provided young caregivers who could drive me around, help me pack and just help with housework. I recovered but they were so helpful.
