Thank goodness we finally found a great home care company. From start to finish they made it so easy. And then most importantly actually provided great care at an extremely important time. I can’t say enough good things about them.

Having no family in the area I called "Home Instead" which was recommended by the hospital to arrange a ride for my procedure. The care giver showed up at my home on time & got me to the hospital on time, later while I was in recovery the care giver came to the room to keep me company until the hospital released me. I was then taken home. Very friendly & professional service that I would highly recommend.

This company has horrible customer service (except for 2 people I will explain later)! Initially I worked with a fairly new intake person on the phone. She quoted prices, and very quickly I received a text from someone I thought was a salesman for them (stating the info. I rec’d. was not correct). Found out later he was the owner. Next we had a long process trying to get them approved by my insurance company. Brenda was very helpful in working with my case mgr @ the insurance co. Finally got the approval after more red tape. Then Nurse Judy was scheduled for an assessment in my home the following Mon. That morning I was told she called in sick, and would call me back by EOD to reschedule. Whole week went by, and heard nothing! I c/b on following Mon., and got a new assessment apt. Chris (from Winchester Off. showed up instead of Judy who was still sick). Chris explained everything, but financial arrangements, and I signed the paperwork. Judy came in a few days to verify what caregivers would be doing. She also couldn’t answer financial side to me. She c/b the following Weds, and I told her I was busy - could she c/b on Fri., & she suggested 1:30pm. Fri came and no call! I called her @ 4:50p & was told she was doing a conference call, and would call me back after she was finished. Heard nothing back. Called again following Mon., & was told she thought I was going to call her, and she never saw the message to c/b Fri nite - until it was too late! I said I am the customer-you were supposed to call me! Then she said I would have to pay for a months service in advance (I had offered to pay daily @ end of each caregiver visit!). I told her I could not fund 8 to 10 visits in advance, every month. She said that my only choice! I said please have your supervisor call me (she said she will give you the same answer I did), I said that’s OK, if they wanted my business after wasting 6 weeks, to have her supervisor, or the owner call me back to save the account! I never heard from anyone again! Thanks to Brenda and Chris for trying to get me as a customer!
