My mother had an eye appointment with her eye doctor last month and after nearly 3 hours at that office, they told us she desperately needed an injection in her right eye but they didn't have the medication. During that visit, she was diagnosed with endophthalmitis which I had never heard of and they wrote it down on a post-it note and gave me the note. They called eye doctors nearby and ended up sending us to this office that evening so Mom could get the injection in her right eye. We rushed to get to there and it was close to 5 p.m. by the time we made it to their office. My Mom is elderly and her eye doctor had already dilated her eyes twice that day before we arrived at this office that evening. When we got to the examination room, the door flew open and in walked this doctor who was very arrogant and rude right away. He litetally jerked the post-it note from my hand that had her diagnosis of endophthalmitis written on it (yes, you read that right, he grabbed it out of my hand) and threw it in the trash can. I was absolutely shocked by this man's unprofessional behavior. I told him that I needed that diagnosis to put into my phone so I could research it as I didn't have time to do it beforehand because we were rushing to get from her eye doctor to his office. He interrupted me and said "That isn't my diagnosis and your Mom needs to go to Morgantown or the Emergency Room or she could lose her eyesight in her right eye." I was again shocked! I said we were sent here for you to give her an injection in her right eye and he told me he wasn't going to give her one. Instead, he picked up his cell phone and called an eye clinic in Morgantown and they hung up on him. He said it was their answering service but his demeanor became even more agitated and he said we would have to go to Morgantown and we left his office with no treatment or prescriptions. Two days later, my brother took Mom to Morgantown, per Dr. Jamerson's referral, and they told her it was inflammation in her right eye and prescribed steroid eye drops which she most certainly should have received from her eye doctor or from this office in Charleston. I would NOT recommend this office, specifically Dr. Jamerson, after the unprofessional and rude treatment we received. In my professional and personal life, I deal with physicians often and have never been treated so poorly and unprofessionally by one until this appointment my Mom had with Dr. Jamerson.

my gas bubble in my left eye from my retinal repair surgery is gone. It only took 19 days to disappear. I can see well now without all those black floaters. I want to thank everyone for the good thoughts during my recovery. I also want to thank the people at WV Eye Consultants for their quick evaluation and immediate referral to Retina Consultants especially Dr. Richardson for his quick attention to my problem and surgical repair.
