The facility is extremely clean/spotless, and the technicians ensure comfort and warmth, per use of headphones with choice of music and heated blankets. The costs for services are literally 1/2 of what corporate clinics charge, and results' turn-arounds are fast and efficient! My first scan experience took place on a Friday, and results were provided the following Monday. My second scan (different year/different injury) results were provided the same day. Scheduling is flexible, and thankfully, due to our icy road conditions, I was able to delay my arrival since nobody was scheduled in that time-frame. I have recommended Smart Scan to others who might need such services, and I will continue to do so, as appropriate. Thank you!

MRI scans typically take between 15 to 30 minutes. With the GE 1.5 Tesla wide bore scanner, we can reduce the time you spend in the machine, making for a more comfortable experience.
How does it feel to get an MRI scan? How should I prepare for my scan?
The MRI scanner creates a strong magnetic field. You won’t feel anything, but you may hear a rhythmic knocking. We provide headphones with music of your choice to help block out any noise and make your time on the table enjoyable.
Additionally, you should wear loose and comfortable clothing for your scan. Metal objects, including jewelry, glasses and other accessories, must be removed prior to your scan as they can interfere with the magnetic field.
