- ZHZachary HilgemannOct 25, 20253.0I am a loyal Planet Fitness follower. My wife and I have been coming to this location whenever we visit friends and family in the area. However, I was shocked by an incident that occurred this morning. My wife shared her Black Card Guest Pass with me and I lagged behind her when we checked in. I checked in and proceeded to the Mens locker room. Shortly after entering the locker room I heard a female voice yell “Female entering.” I turned to look and saw the employee that checked me in. She immediately approached me and asked for the name of the Black Card holder who shared the pass with me. I gave her the name and she turned and left. Afterwards I approached her at the front desk and asked her if everything was okay. She said it was fine and that it was always awkward when that happens. Her answer implied that she was given training to follow this exact process. I support management’s policy to confirm members are following the rules but I also believe the employee training should include instructions to give an immediate apology to the guest and any of the other men that were in the locker room when the female employee entered. I love Planet Fitness but this incident has; unfortunately, lowered my opinion of the management of this particular location.
