  The nurse Joe was awesome, the Dr was great and the lab techs were great and the x-ray tech was great also!!

  Went to take my son to urgent care after a choking episode. I did heimlich on him. He has a bad cough (has had one for the past week granted, just now worse) trouble breathing on exertion, and tummy pain (from hemlich) and trouble swallowing. The doc barely looked at him and laughed at me saying of course his tummy hurt you did heimlich on him. I was hoping for a little more than that and a higher level of care other than "dont listen to dr Google when they say to take your kid in to dr after performing hemlich on them".

  While diagnosis and treatment were, I think, right on money, the time spent at the Ripon Hospital Urgent Care/ER was unacceptable on 3/11/26. I arrived there around 2:15, checked in, etc and waited and waited and waited. I finally saw the doctor at about 5:30, and checked out at 5:44 pm. With a prescription for a case of acute sinusitis. I think the reason it was so disappointing was that I had been cared for in a timely manner several times in the past. Im hoping this day was a rarity and not a sign of things to come.
