    Best experience ever! The office is so clean and welcoming. They have a mini fridge full of pop and refreshments, even a snack bar! The receptionist are so nice and welcoming. The whole process was so easy and stress free! They provide you with noise canceling headphones and you get to listen to your choice of music on Spotify! The whole experience was so awesome! I would recommend going with Smart Scan to anyone! So thankful they exist and help people afford the healthcare they need! 💜

How long will my MRI scan take?

MRI scans typically take between 15 to 30 minutes. With the GE 1.5 Tesla wide bore scanner, we can reduce the time you spend in the machine, making for a more comfortable experience.

How does it feel to get an MRI scan? How should I prepare for my scan?

The MRI scanner creates a strong magnetic field. You won’t feel anything, but you may hear a rhythmic knocking. We provide headphones with music of your choice to help block out any noise and make your time on the table enjoyable. Additionally, you should wear loose and comfortable clothing for your scan. Metal objects, including jewelry, glasses and other accessories, must be removed prior to your scan as they can interfere with the magnetic field. Talk to your doctor or the staff at Smart Scan for more information on how to prepare for an MRI scan.
