- JLJames LordJul 22, 20252.0My husband and myself had our scheduled annual exam as new patients. During our exams the Dr. constantly confirmed that everything "looked good". A few days after our appointments we received notice from our insurance company that a portion of our claim will not be paid. Much to our surprise we are being charged for extra tests the Dr. ran. After speaking with a staff member , apparently he "saw something that needed a closer look". I find it odd that we both needed these extra tests. At no time (to either of us) did he indicate an issue. Now we are faced with $175.00 out of pocket for the additional tests. I did call to contest this charge and was told if unpaid it will go to collections. I feel that we should have been informed during the exam the need for additional testing. This type of practice just seems suspicious to me.
- KSKaleb SchultzMay 20, 20245.0A really Nice Place to Go!!! Very Respectful!!! Dr. Piffl Is fun to talk to and he takes time to talk with his patients!!! I am so glad that I went in to see him because now I get to go in an get a new pair of glasses!!! I so cant wait to get them!!! And I asked when they would come in I was quite surprised when they said about a week to 10 days!!! So well worth it!!! Everyone should get there eyes checked here!! I was gonna go to shopko optical but they ended up not being able to charge my insurance cards which is quite stupid! So after a while of considering it cause I really needed glasses again I decided to Give Dr. Piffl's office a call and man is it well worth it. If you are afraid to get glasses don't be afraid to because if you need to get your eyes checked and you end up needing glasses this is the place to go!!!! Thank you Dr. Piffl and his Staff so much!!!! I will be referring some friends to come here with the business cards I have grabbed. Thanks again!!!!!!!
