Club Pilates Mequon is a boutique Pilates studio specializing in reformer fusion classes for anyone, at any age or fitness level. Pure to Joseph Pilates’ original Reformer-based Contrology Method, but modernized with group practice and expanded state-of-the-art equipment, Club Pilates offers high-quality, life-changing training at a surprisingly affordable price.
I have been a mat Pilates instructor for 13 years, and wanted to try reformer Pilates, and get stronger for an upcoming surgery. The classes (except Fridays) have quite enough level varieties throughout the week, and scheduling (schedule your favorite instructors early) was quick and easy. Almost all of the instructors are excellent. The owner of the franchise (she also has one in Whitefish Bay) has staffed to (almost) perfection, especially among her front desk employees; you feel welcomed and at home pretty quickly. The exercises are the same as I was used to on mat, and I loved (only leaving because we are gone so much come Winter) going to each class.
The only slight negative, or really just a "heads up" is that if you are used to mat Pilates (like me) and have never even seen a reformer, (like me - those 13 years of teaching were mostly at the Y....we don't have reformers) get accustomed to the reformer (google, get advice, etc.) before you start here. I took their intro class before starting this Summer, but the instructor only went over the spring resistance, and then went into a basic class. Because of this, when I started, I was clumsy and unknowledgeable about the chair, springboard, and the yellow springs on the wall, so I was slow, and perhaps frustrated or slowed down the instructors. I know that I was frustrated when two of the instructors informed me that I should stay at level 1, when I wanted to progress. All I really needed was a reformer and other equipment involved, instruction.
Overall, this is an excellent studio, that adheres to the Joseph Pilates methods, and the instructors have great knowledge about form, resistance levels, and variety of exercises. Go! Have fun!

Trying to get into a level 2 class was difficult. The owner was unable to provide adequate customer service and ultimately cancelled membership without any communication. To be fair, classes are good, but customer service was quite poor.

My favorite favorite! This is my favorite part of my wellness regimen! I love love love this place. You don’t realize how physically weak you are until you start Pilates. I feel stronger, I feel better. I can’t wait to see how I feel in 6 months or even a year. Doesn’t matter your age, Pilates is for everyone! I’d recommend you try it. The atmosphere is so refreshing.
