  I gave them my insurance information at check-in. They then billed my old insurance and when I messaged them to say this is incorrect, they told me they don't have my new insurance? At the appointment I waited for an hour for the doctor to come in. (Mind you I was on break from work and needed to go back so I lost money) They then came in, asked me if my meds were working then left. Then I was charged for a physical? I told them that was not a physical, and not sure if they changed it yet because the billing still is with my other insurance. Not specific to this location, but I had been trying to get financial assistance (for a bill they lied about the price of before I had the procedure done) for a year and a half and now the bill has gone to collections because no one would answer me. I'm only going here because I can't handle trying to find ANOTHER new doctor and go through all of it again. I understand that the whole health and health insurance industry is the real problem, however this place (SSM in general) makes its SOOOO hard to just go to the doctor and get the care I need. They do not supply estimates or ANY kind of financial help when asked unless I jump through 85 hoops that I don't have time to decipher. I am so tired.

  We’ve been going here for years. The staff has always been friendly. I feel the nurses and doctors listen to you - they are not rushing to see the next patient, like I’ve experienced at other places.

  The worst people run this place. No idea what insurance they accept, no idea what doctors work there, just clueless in every single aspect. Unable to answer the most basic questions. They try to get you to come in for an appointment without telling you anything, just 'come in and when it is time to bill, we will find out if we take your insurance' ???? What, just clueless! Not a good way to inspire confidence in potential patients.

  Taisha in the OT Department is both personable and highly knowledgeable. She provided a wealth of helpful information to assist me with managing my painful arthritis. I was also sent home with three different braces, tailored for each hand. Great experience! So glad I came here.
