I started dealing with severe pelvic pain during pregnancy, and it seemed like every pelvic health PT was booking out past my due date. Thank goodness I found Lauren! Super kind and knowledgeable, and now I can walk up and down stairs again and pick up my toddler. I feel soo much better and more in control. Would definitely recommend!

I was treated by Dr Lauren Young in physical therapy for shoulder problems after mastectomy. She came recommended by my oncologist and I was so happy I followed thru with making the appointment. Dr Young was FANTASTIC! On the first day, she got right to the root causes, gave me direct treatment including dry needling , soft tissue mobilization and taught me very specific exercises. I am about 1.5 years out of my surgery and I was surprised I could feel so much better after first visit with better motion and posture. 100% recommend Dr Young to women with mastectomy issues.

We cannot say enough incredible things about our physical therapist. She has been our sole source of support throughout my daughter’s entire journey—before and after her PAO + FAI + labral repair surgery—and her impact has been nothing short of life-changing.
Her depth of knowledge is truly exceptional, but what sets her apart even more is her ability to communicate that knowledge in a way that is clear, reassuring, and empowering. She took the time to thoroughly prepare us for every stage of the process, always making sure we understood what to expect and why it mattered.
Post-surgery, her guidance has been absolutely outstanding. She knows exactly when to challenge my daughter and when to support her, progressing her recovery with perfect balance and confidence. Every step has felt intentional and tailored, and that has made all the difference in both physical healing and emotional confidence.
Her dedication, expertise, and genuine care are beyond anything we could have hoped for. We are endlessly grateful to have had her by our side through this journey. Simply put—she is out of this world.

Lauren has been looking after my daughter who underwent major surgery and has been helping me with sciatic nerve pain. I trust her good judgement and I like working with her on going. Trust is key - you establish it with hard work, attention, and skill. She hits 5/5 on these attributes.

Jake spent a lot of time with me today, really trying to get to the bottom of what's causing my hip pain. His was very knowledgeable and I felt very confident that I was in good hands.
Frequently Asked Questions About Onward Physical Therapy
Do I need a referral from a MD?
In the state of Wisconsin, no referral is needed to see a physical therapist. If you question your need to see your doctor first, feel free to call us to discuss!
What can I expect in my first visit?
Your therapist will spend the time listening to your medical history and treatment goals. They will then perform a comprehensive physical assessment focused around the movements and activities that are limited. Together, you and your therapist will come up with a game plan for recovery!
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable workout clothing to the appointment to allow for movement or possible manual therapy.
If you are coming in for the lower body, it is best to have shorts available.
If you are coming in for the shoulder/neck region, we encourage for women to wear a top that exposes the shoulder blade area.
Where do I park?
There is ample parking in the Liberty Business park. After turning onto Clarity street look for the enormous blue sign with the Crossfit Adept “A” on it. Enter the front of the building and you’ll find our office to your left!
Can I use my Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)?
Absolutely!
Why don’t you take my insurance?
Current insurance reimbursement forces most companies to co-treat multiple patients at once and denies many performance based treatments that Onward delivers. We believe you deserve better and we refuse to allow an insurance company to dictate your care.
We can easily prepare a super-bill for you, which will allow you to easily submit proof of your appointment to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.
Can I bill my insurance for reimbursement?
This depends on the insurance you have, but YES, most non-Medicare patients can send “self-claims” to their insurance company for their treatments at our clinic. You should be able to print claim forms from your insurance company’s website, and send it in with the needed receipts and treatment codes that will be provided upon request at our clinic.
The amount of reimbursement or application towards your deductible is completely dependent on your insurance plan. If you call your insurance company to inquire about what you can expect to receive, you should ask about reimbursement for “out-of-network Physical Therapy” expenses sent in via self-claims.
