Awesome experience, I don't think I've had a bad time shopping for glasses at either LensCrafters location in Madison, but this one takes the cake because the location is newer and it feels like a better experience for the amount of money I'm spending. Tovi and Zach made my experience shopping for glasses for my daughter and lenses for myself, flawless. If they tried to sell me a product, they ran it by once and didn't push me to try to get something I don't need. My daughter changed her mind on a pair she wasn't feeling, Tovi and Zach didn't bat an eye, they made sure she was comfortable with the pair of glasses she wanted and we were on our way. Awesome experience, I can't stress that enough.

Upon arriving at the LensCrafters shop near the Madison East Towne Mall, I was greeted by Tovi, the store manager, who was friendly, helpful, and highly competent, from recommending frames that met my preferences, through identifying my vision insurance coverage, to measuring/fitting and finally to check-out.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
