Barre3's signature class is a fine combination of aerobic, strength, flexibility and cool down/relaxation. The energy led by the instructor (I have been in classes with Missy, Zoe and Erica) and driven by the music carries us through 60 minutes. Especially appreciated are the options and adaptations offered with a generous understanding that we are individuals with our own goals and, often for those of us who are older, limitations.

Amazing class! Great workout, challenging and very motivating. Missy was wonderful at guiding you through the workout for a full. body burn and mental stimulation. I left feeling lighter and more confident! Can't wait to come back!

I’m an older woman … in the over 70 crowd. I know how important it is to stay active and strong … but fitness clubs and gyms aren’t my thing. I’ve done a lot of walking and stretching and really enjoy that but when my health plan included some “wellness” perks I took a look. I had started with pilates and that was good … actually probably a really good intro for me into something more structured. But they discontinued with the program and that’s when I found Barre3. WOW!!!! I was a little tentative initially thinking it would be too much for me but… Throughout the whole process from registering - to the classes, the owner and staff have been incredibly supportive and attuned to any unique needs I have. They foster a sense of community that is subtle but welcome, it’s not cliquey. I will say the classes are a workout but I’m never pushed to do more than I can do. The positive vibe is great. Classes are with all ages and levels, the atmosphere is bright and energetic and in spite of the workout I always leave a class energized.
