Lost all trust, which is sad. -- edit-- it's been 10 years, and the original office was purchased and ingested by elite. Obvious intellectual dishonesty. Apparently didn't ask Dr. Mathen

- KSKaylyn SeidlJan 26, 20265.0GREAT EXPERIENCE! My youngest just turned 3 years old a little over a week ago and this was his first visit to the dentist. We have prepped for this for weeks. We read a bunch of books, watch cartoon episodes with dentist visits, listened to toddler dentist song, and bought a teeth cleaning game. We talked about it a lot in general really just trying to hyped it up. He was familiar with there play area, from prior visits with his older sister. We went early so he still had time to play. Plus I brought my secret weapon too, his emotional support sister. The receptionist lady, I'm horrible with names, I adore her, she's fantastic brought the paperwork right over to me while he was playing. Dental hygienist lady, again I'm horrible with names, was INCREDIBLE, shes a GEM. She allowed him to warm up to her and spent a few moments making him comfortable and relaxed. She was his new friend and was 100% engaged with her. She explained everything to him before she did it and made sure he was comfortable before she continued. She explained everything to him using his hands/finger nails and letting him look/ feel the tools she using. Gave encouragement and praise during the entire cleaning. It was like they were playing. The Dr checked everything out, answered every questions, she's straight forward, direct, but in a kind way though she's really sweet. He had no cavities so he put a tooth on the wall and loved picking out of the treasure box. Thank you for the wonderful experience and helping me start his dental journey on a positive note!
