I had a really great experience during the eye exam portion of our visit. The pre-screen technician who helped my daughters was absolutely amazing, so warm, friendly, and patient. She made both of my girls feel completely comfortable from start to finish, which I really appreciated. I wish I could remember her name because I would gladly recommend her to anyone. The doctor was also fantastic, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense, so I fully understood what was going on with my both of my girls eyes. Based on the exam alone, I would definitely return to this location. Unfortunately, the experience afterward didn’t match the same level of care. When it came time to discuss glasses, it felt like everything possible was automatically added to the lenses without any real conversation about options or preferences. There wasn’t much effort to ask what I actually wanted or needed, and the final price for two children’s glasses was extremely high so I went online to LensCrafters to order their glasses from there again. Overall, the exam itself was excellent, but the sales process afterward could definitely use improvement.

I had a great experience at LensCrafters! Anita was beyond helpful from start to finish. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely took the time to make sure I found exactly what I needed. She answered all my questions, gave honest recommendations, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. You can tell she really cares about her customers. I’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommend asking for Anita if you visit!

This should be a zero as it was a total disappointment and waste of my time. I have gone to this Lens Crafters for over ten years, namely because of Anita. Today I walked out and will never go back. I had an appointment and arrived on time. I waited in line while others jumped ahead. No one welcomed me. I waited for ten minutes while others were being helped. The clerks walked away from the desk. Stood there waiting. Miss Sunshine with zero customer service asked if I had been helped. Clearly not. I was standing in line their “line” for ten minutes watching them help others. She finally asked “what did I need”. I told her I had an appointment at 11:40 and she pointed behind her and told me to wait in a different line. Get it together. She was rude and I had planned to get 3 sets of glasses today. Never again. I’ll take my business to professionals.

Subject: Complaint About Poor Customer Service – March 12 I am writing to report a very disappointing experience I had at a LensCrafters store on March 12 at around 7:30 PM. I had ordered a pair of glasses online and came into the store to ask if someone could switch the lenses from my current glasses to the new ones. I currently have Meta glasses Gen 1 and had purchased Gen 2, so I wanted to see if it was possible to transfer my lenses. When I asked the associate for help, she immediately denied the request without offering any explanation or trying to assist further. The interaction felt very dismissive. She was also rude in her tone, walked away while I was speaking, and took a long time to come back. During the entire interaction, there was very little communication, which made the situation uncomfortable. Because of how I was treated, I ended up leaving the store without receiving any help. I have not felt that uncomfortable in a retail store in a long time. Unfortunately, I did not catch the employee’s name. However, she had very short blonde/whitish hair and a colorful greenish tattoo on her chest. This experience was extremely disappointing. As a customer, I expect to be treated respectfully and at least be given proper assistance or an explanation. After this interaction, I am unsure if I want to return if this is how customers are treated. I hope this matter can be reviewed so that future customers do not have a similar experience.

It had been a few years since my last eye exam, and although I’d never visited this location before, I figured it was worth avoiding unnecessary rush hour traffic. I was running a few minutes behind but made it just within the 10‑minute cutoff — thank you again for the grace. Right away, the storefront caught my eye. I noticed A$AP Rocky on the window display and thought, “Okay, LensCrafters got some money,” but stepping inside completely surprised me. The layout and design felt like walking into a Beverly Hills boutique — modern, clean, and genuinely impressive. A gentleman greeted me and guided me to the check‑in counter, where two lovely ladies helped me get started. Zhee checked me in and handled the preliminary tests before I met with Dr. Pratt. Dr. Pratt was kind, straightforward, and efficient — in and out without any confusion. Afterward, Megan explained the next steps and who I’d be working with if she wasn’t available. And then came Andrea, the cherry on top of the entire visit. She walked me through every pair of glasses I had selected, helped narrow down the best options, and made the process feel fun instead of overwhelming. I was quite impressed with Andrea’s ability to multitask and form a genuine conversation at the same time. The ladies nearby even chimed in with honest opinions about which lens color worked best for my sunglasses. I used to think prescription sunglasses were unnecessary — then I got closer to 30 and realized regular shades just don’t cut it anymore. The joys of aging gracefully. Thank you to everyone for your kindness, patience, and support. I’m genuinely excited to pick up my new glasses and shades. 20/10 service :)

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
