If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went to the store for an eye exam on 2/20/26. I was really looking forward to getting new glasses and contacts since I haven’t had glasses since 2024 and I was out of contacts. I dealt with the store manager Janiie and she was very nice and polite. The store associate operating the exam equipment didn’t hook up the equipment to my eyes properly, so the whole exam was off. After the exam process, the doc tells me I should be using a prescription weaker than the one I was used to for 10+ years. I’m not a doctor so I said ok, but I knew something was off about that test and what I was seeing. I proceeded to order the glasses and the trial pairs of contacts to make sure they fit my eyes properly. Took about 5 days for them to arrive. Once I put them on, I instantly noticed something was off. I couldn’t read street signs, barely could see at night, and faces were blurry. I called them and Janiie, the store manager, tells me to come in for a re-adjustment. I didn’t have any contacts left from my old prescription, so I was stuck wearing the glasses with the wrong prescription for another week until I could go in on 2/27/26. Janiie then tells me they will have to order another trial pair of my contacts since they got the prescription wrong. I was fine with waiting the week and a half Janiie told me it would take. Since I had to wait for my second pair of glasses anyways. The glasses arrived on 3/3/26, but the contacts didn’t. My prescription was fixed, so I wasn’t upset anymore, I was told all I had to do was wait another week to get my contacts. 3/13/26 rolls around and I didn’t hear anything from them so I give them a call to get an update. Janiie answers and tells me that they received my contacts on 3/9/26 but no one called or messaged me. She apologized for that inconvenience and put me on hold to locate the contacts. After being on hold for about 2 and a half minutes, she returns to the phone and tells me she can’t locate the contacts. Couldn’t tell me how it happened, and told me she was messaging her crew as we were on the phone to see how that happened and would give me an update soon on what happened. I also was told since they were lost, she would have to order them again. She then tells me she would speak with her manager to see if there was any way to compensate me and give me a proper explanation as to what happened. I get a call from Janiie, the same store manager, on 3/18/26 letting me know that my contacts arrived and that I needed to schedule an appointment to make sure they fit. I asked about an update on what happened and talking to her manager and she said she was still getting on that. I arrived to that appointment today, 3/20/26. I get there at 4:28 pm for my scheduled time of 4:30 pm. No one greeted me, but they were dealing with customers so I understood. Couldn’t help but hear the man in front of me trying to figure out why they told him his glasses arrived and they didn’t have them in store. Hmmm… sounds familiar. The store associate was so lost, couldn’t give him a valid answer as to why, and told him he would have to re order them. The other store associate was checking out a customer at this time who needed someone else to pay for his glasses over the phone. She proceeded to put the phone on speaker, and let the man paying blurt out all of his credit card information and billing address to run the card. Me and another customer heard all of this man’s information without trying or asking. Couldn’t believe it happened. After that, 4:38 pm rolls around and I’m finally addressed and told to go to the back for my contact fitting. Contacts fit great, so I ask the store associate if the manager was available and they said no. I asked if they heard anything about my situation and they said no as well. It’s apparent that the store manager and other associates have no idea how to operate effectively or have proper customer service skills. Mistakes happen but this is pure negligence and carelessness. I will not shop at that location again.

I'm amending this review. After I got home I realized my lenses were scratched during the process of getting my nose pads changed. When I called the store I was told by the manager (Janie) that she couldn't have done that and that they are not going to fix the damage that was caused at the store and my only option is to call the customer service phone number to see if they might be able to help. I don't think I'll be going back to a Target Optical again after something like this.

I had a positive experience ordering my Oakley glasses from Target Optical. My glasses were ready in less than one week, which is record fast, and everything was handled professionally from start to finish. The store manager and all employees were extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. When I came in to pick up my glasses, the associate working that evening was very friendly and attentive — even though she was clearly busy helping two other customers at the same time. She handled everything with professionalism and a great attitude. The only suggestion I have is staffing in the evenings. It seems like there is usually just one person working, and having two associates available would make the experience even smoother and faster during busy times. Overall, excellent service and a very positive experience.

Janie was extremely cordial and professional while helping us and several other customers. My wife and I purchased Ray ban meta glasses with our benefits and it was a bit of a process however she was able to navigate the labyrinthian insurance process and assist everyone of he customers while doing so. We are extremely happy and impressed with the experience. Thank you
