Staff ignored me, violated my boundaries, and did not take my concerns seriously. They were dismissive and the blond registration employee was abusive. Do not come here unless your goal is to be neglected and harassed. The doctor that treated me made a lot of assumptions instead of asking questions. Nurses did not review my medication list. Bloodwork was not ordered. The doctor charted incorrect information. He was very dismissive and did not listen as he already had his mind made up about why I was there, instead of actually doing his job. Chief complaint was incorrect in the after visit summary. My pulse was high, my bp was high, and Dr. Lazio was dismissive, assumed I was a drug seeker, when my vitals and symptoms very clearly indicated a REAL PROBLEM. He wanted to prescribe me an antibiotic, despite no evidence of an infection. Even the ultrasound tech admitted that with my history, an abdominal CT should have been ordered. I will absolutely be reporting this.

I'm not sure if they don't plan to post my original review as it still has not appeared, but now that I am home from Froedtert where I was dumped by St Agnus, I am able to add more to my review which I had planned to edit when feeling better anyway.
1st, let me say, if I could offer no stars or even negative stars that is what I would do. I arrived in the ER on Monday 2/16 at approximately 10:25pm. I was brought in on CPAP by the EMS unable to breath on my own. Scariest experience of my entire 63 years. I was not greeted with any type of urgency; in fairness I did see almost all the ER rooms were occupied as I was wheeled by on the gurney.
A nurse did come into the room within 30 minutes-ish already having an attitude, telling us there were "a lot of critically ill patients". (As much as I would like to provide her name, I won't, because I intend to respect her privacy even though she showed me NO respect until I complained to the doctor about her) I don't know why not being able to breath by oneself is not also considered "critically ill" but it was clear she did not see me as a priority. We waited nearly an hour to see a doctor, who in fairness to her was the ONLY ER doctor in a ward full of "critically ill patients". She apologized and said she would be back soon. (4 hours later is when I saw her again)
At some point, and I do not recall the timeline exactly because I was "not critically ill enough" but certainly not tracking time, they did give me steroids to see if that would restore my breathing on its own. No other tests run, no checking to see if that had changed my condition, no questions about what might have caused the condition, rudeness to those that came with me when they asked questions. Nothing, no empathy, no sympathy, no other checking on us in the 4 hour wait for the doctor to return.
At about 2:20am my friend who is in nursing school did ask some questions which were rudely answered by the nurse (same one) from the doorway again repeating, "we have critically ill patients, and the doctor will return when she can". At that point I did ask should I just send my people home and she replied "yes", send them home.
In the mix of all this, I had to use the bathroom, and was correctly, however rudely, told I could not walk so there were 2 options offered, bed pan, or a vac unit that activates when you urinate. After the tech, who was also extremely rude snapped my options at me I opted for the vac. Mind you, I was in the ER a total of 8 hours before they shipped me out, the device worked well, until it didn't. I had no idea the receptacle was full so about 3 hours before I left any urine was now going on the pad underneath me. I mentioned this to the nurse, (same one) and she looked past me, to the container, and said, "yeah, that's because it's full". Turned around and walked out leaving me to lay in my own urine for about 3 more hours until my transport arrived.
Thankfully, the EMS team cleaned me up when they arrived. They could not have been more kind. They also were confused why I was going to Froedtert, and I explained how I was advised of the need for ENT and they indicated EVERYTHING in my records pointed to my heart. They also said, this is not uncommon for "this ER".
Honestly, there is so much more I could add, and some I don't remember because I was so ill. But I think this clearly portrays the horror of my 8 1/2 hours with St. Agnus.
