  I will never visit another SSM Health provider after the billing nightmare that I’m going through. I received a bill for a visit that was more than a year ago charging me a second copay for 1 visit. I had two doctor appointments this year and paid the copay each time and they did not apply either payment to that office visit. I called the Billing Department and explained my billing issues. I was told I would be transferred to an Escalation Dept and the agent just put me at the end of the hold line. When I finally got to speak to an agent they kept telling me that they didn’t have time for this. They were not able to assist me with my billing issues. I was told I would get a returned phone call with assistance and no one ever called me back. My Insurance company and I were on the phone with SSM Health billing for 90 minutes and SSM Health will still not resolve the billing issue. I was shocked by the lack of knowledge that the billing agent had.
