  In early February I had a diabetic foot exam performed by my doctor. The office immediately faxed the shoe order to SSM in Fond du Lac. About a month ago I called to find out what the problem was that I hadn't heard from them. They said waiting on insurance. I called again today, now nearly two months out and the same answer. This is unacceptable. When I have lab work done, they know immediately if the test is covered or not. I think this is a bunch of BS they are blaming on insurance. In the past two years I have had good service with Margaret. What is going on now? If I don't hear back in a reasonable time, I will look to take my business elsewhere.

  I needed to get my first pair of medical compression socks. The person who helped fit me, and then show me extra tips and tricks when I picked them up, was a real gem. Her name is Michelle and she was amazing. I am the type of persons that likes extra information because I get anxious in medical situations. She can melt anxiety :-).

  SSM Health at Home was truly amazing and a blessing during a difficult time. They helped me with everything I needed — from my walker, to my walker/transport chair combo, and even my wheelchair rental. They made sure I was comfortable and supported the entire time, and they took the time to show me the easiest way to use everything so I felt confident and safe. They helped me every step of the way and never made me feel rushed or like a burden. What meant the most was how much they genuinely cared — even down to trying to find my favorite color and paying attention to the little things that made me feel seen and respected. I’m truly grateful for their help and I highly recommend SSM Health at Home.
