I am well aware that with Covid vaccinations being dispensed that pharmacies may be busier than normal, but having been here for over 20 minutes and being the ONLY customer, the 10 minute lecture on waiting to have medications filled, (at a pharmacy?), during such a busy time seemed unnecessary, condescending and rude. A 48 hour turn around time for medications that are in stock seems pretty excessive and I shouldn’t be made to feel “lucky” that my order of one script will be ready for pick up by this evening. As a nurse, I am fully aware and understanding of the additional stress that is added to daily tasks by Covid, but this experience was honestly upsetting and seemed extremely unprofessional and uncalled for.
