Once he got through his presentation he said that our insurance did not cover hearing aids for my husband. I was surprised that they covered nothing. I trusted them and moved on with them checking his ears. The doctor said they looked good. We felt pressured and rushed to making a decision. Thinking back we should have walked away and said we will think about it. We scheduled another appointment to get the hearing aids. The next day I called our insurance and that if we go in network we have a third party that we could get a discount. That is not what Miracle Ear (Tyler) told us. We also went and got a second opinion to find out that my husband had wax built up that you couldn’t even see his ear drum. Went to urgent care to get that cleaned out. Miracle Ear said his ears looked good. They were just looking for a sale. I am currently trying to get them to reimburse us. They are charging $780.00 for a restocking fee. It is sad that they lie about no coverage and didn’t care about the wax built up, but yet I have to pay that amount of money on a lie. Michelle Chapman
