The first dentist I saw at New Leaf Dental was very kind, but she left the practice shortly after my initial visit. When I returned to continue my care—specifically to replace a very old bridge that I was told might help relieve my pain—I was assigned a different dentist who was not very personable with patients, though she was friendly with staff. After my bridge was removed and a temporary bridge placed, I was sent home for about two weeks. When I returned, the staff had significant difficulty removing the temporary bridge, and it was extremely painful. They then attempted to place the permanent bridge, which was also very painful. Most of this work was done by a dental assistant. Only after this did the dentist come in and tell me that I actually needed a root canal and that I would need to be referred to a specialist. The specialist I saw was excellent and immediately identified that I needed two root canals—not just one. When I asked why this wasn’t noticed when my bridge was originally removed, he honestly could not explain why it had been missed. A few weeks later, I returned to New Leaf Dental to have the permanent bridge placed. I continued to have problems: pain, discomfort, and food constantly getting trapped under the bridge. Eventually, I sought care at a completely different dental office. They did an amazing job, corrected the issues, and I am now pain-free. Months later—after repeatedly being told I would owe nothing because I had double insurance coverage and after repeatedly asking for confirmation—I suddenly received a bill for $2,300. Between the pain, the missed diagnosis, the ongoing issues with the bridge, and the unexpected bill, I will never return to New Leaf Dental.

I would never recommend this office and this is why...My wife went in for a molar extraction on 1/22/26 and during the during the procedure Dr. Parker mentioned to her that if she felt pain then to raise her hand. She raised her hand after being in the chair for 45 minutes and when she did he tossed his tool aside on the tray and walked away for a few minutes, leaving my wife and the assistant there. The assistant was there but not there, she didn't offer any type of comfort or reassurance. The doc then returned and finished his hack job. At the end he wrote a junk prescription on a paper script that no pharmacy would fill due to the fact that it was written wrong and the Pharmacist at Wal-Mart relayed the new laws for controlled substance prescriptions and how they had to be sent in electronically. I tried to contact the office on the 22nd at around 4:45 pm and the office was closed. Then they're closed Friday the 23rd so there was no way we could talk to them about getting the prescription re-written. Fast forward through the weekend, it is now 1/26/26 and after relying on Ibuprofen and Tylenol as well as cold packs to help with the pain, we get in touch with the front desk and we ask to speak to the dentist. We kept getting told he was with a patient, and after that patient he had another patient. This goes on for quite a bit and ultimately they ask for the paper script that they had written us. We didn't have it because we threw it away since it couldn't be filled, so why keep it. Then when I finally get to talk to another "specialist" I was told that the dr that saw my wife was out for the week, how did this not come up a few hours ago when we first talked for the day? So, after this, we are told that we can take ibuprofen and tylenol for it and that they'll talk to the other dr to see if he would write a correct script. Today, 1/27/26, we get a call stating that the dr there won't write a new script because we "threw the old one away" as if we are some kind of addict and looking for pain pills. So basically, my wife has been in excruciating pain for almost a week with no help from the office whatsoever. I'm sure I left some things out but these were among the biggest issues we had. If I could I'd request a refund but no amount of money is going to fix this. So this is why I do not recommend this clinic.

I have a huge fear of the dentist; it's literally my worst nightmare to go. I saw Dr. Parker for an impacted tooth that needed to be pulled. He showed no kindness or compassion. I was crying and terrified, but not one nice word was offered; instead, he seemed annoyed. Before the dentist started, he told me, "If you feel pain, raise your left hand." Thirty minutes into the drilling, I put my left hand up. The dentist tossed a tool on the tray and walked away! Who does that??? It was disgusting behavior. It took them 45 minutes to finish, and this time my mouth hurt so badly. I have cuts on my lip and inside my mouth. The doctor gave me a paper prescription that I couldn't even fill because places don't take paper narcotic prescriptions, which he wrote incorrectly anyway. Luckily, I will tough it out, but please, if you have any fear of the dentist, don't go here. It was the worst experience I have ever had.
