After I was referred to National Seating and Mobility. My stress level dropped immediately, Haylee always listening and delivering everything she promised unbelievable service and communication she is five stars in her position. Wes that came out and fixed my Mom's chair same thing considerate kind and held to his word if not more I am so glad I was referred to them by the other company the other company did not want to do business with me because they didn't do their part and yes I got upset so the only kudos to that company is they referred me to this company I am so happy to have my Mom being a client of theirs Kudos 5 stars to Haylee and Wes!š

This sales rep is different than the one who helped me with my last wheelchair, only because they needed more help in the territory I live in. All of the employees I've dealt with are 5 star people. Because we work in a partnership with your health care team, we require a referral from them in order to be your mobility provider. To help ensure your choice of NSM, you should request that your physician and/or therapist select us as your provider of choice.
How long does it take to get a new power wheelchair from NSM?

Why must I see a doctor to get a wheelchair from NSM?
Our clients have mobility challenges and are referred to us by therapists and physicians to receive mobility solutions that meets all their unique needs. If you need a wheelchair, your best plan is to talk with your physician or therapist and get a thorough evaluation from a qualified Rehab Technology Supplier (RTS).
What if my medical condition changes?
Contact your local NSM branch and notify us of any changes that may affect the proper fit and function of your chair.
Are there any dangers in using an off-the-shelf wheelchair?
Definitely. A standard or not customized chair can cause more harm than good. People come in all shapes and sizes; their chairs must be designed to fit them. In severe situations, a standard or not customized chair may:
- Cause significant physiological and psychological problems
- Lead to an increase in dependence because itās not used due to lack of comfort
- Cause pressure sores, or decubitus, due to improper cushioning
- Become obsolete quickly if not configured to āgrow with the childā
- Become a major expense to replace or reconfigure, because most funding sources will only reimburse for a new chair every five years.
