Cashier Karen was really rude to me and ruined my day. I politely said hello, and she proceeded to treat me like garbage. Maybe she needs a refresher in customer service skills, maybe she was having a bad day. This JUST happened 2:35pm thursday october 30th. She should be thankful she even HAS a job in this economy.

Our last few experiences here have been pretty dismal. In person the staff have been awesome for the most part, but over the phone, customer service has for sure been lacking with snippy sarcastic staff. I understand you are overworked and short staffed, but please don't take it out on people who need to pick up our medication. The tipping point for me today was finding out when my husband got home that not all of our meds were given to him. Yes my husband should have made sure he got it all, but the person grabbing the meds should have also made sure that we had all of our meds. Calling the store verified that they still had the other med (nothing was relayed that anything was still in process if that was the case). This required a second trip across town to pick up the meds. Please make sure to double check that they give you ALL of your meds if they do not tell you what you have.

Their automated system wasted seven hours of our time. It said the prescription was ready, but it wasn’t. I called to find out what was going on and got stuck on hold for 30 minutes, only to find out the pharmacy was on a two-hour lunch. When someone finally answered, they told me I had to call a different location because insurance couldn’t be billed here. The automated system gave false information from the start.
The pharmacist I spoke to afterward just tried to get me off the phone instead of taking the time to actually look up the file. Both employees I spoke with had short, unprofessional attitudes that made the situation even worse. Now we have to wait another two hours in pain, hoping the prescription is finally ready after already being lied to by Fred Meyer once today. If you work in medicine, you should consider a different career for this level of negligence.

I'm sure they try to please, but when a business closes the drive up to a pharmacy for their convenience at random, without any kind of warning,
then they don't deserve to have my business, and the only thing the grocery store is good for are hamburger buns and whipped salad dressing. I'll walk a block and ½ to Walgreens from now on👎👎👎👎👎

I was really displeased with my experience with this pharmacy yesterday. I had an important prescription to transfer to another Fred Meyer pharmacy and they would. Not. Pick. Up. The. Phone.
I was never able to speak to anyone. They immediately hung up on me over 10 times. Another 10 or so times they put me on hold…permanently, or until they either hung up on me or the call was forwarded to their customer service desk. Ultimately one of the pharmacy techs from the other Fred Meyer tried…and gave up, with the same experience, effectively keeping my prescription hostage.
Coupled with some past issues, I’m going to switch to a non-Fred Meyer pharmacy—It seems like you guys have too many customers.
