Barre3 is an efficient and effective workout that combines strength, cardio, and mindfulness, designed to teach people to be balanced in body and empowered from within. When you work out with us, you’ll move through low-impact isometric moves, large-range cardio bursts, and mind-centering breath work. Barre3 instructors will challenge you to find your edge while creating space for you to define what success looks like for you in every workout.
I’m a huge fan of Barre3, I’ve gone to this location’s free outdoor class a couple times, and they’re technically closest to me. Worth the cost if you can afford their packages, unfortunately they don’t offer ClassPass like the other Barre3 locations in Camas and Portland

I started taking classes here just under a year ago and I'm very grateful to have found this studio. It had been years since I seriously attended to my physical fitness and I was pretty nervous at first--my body wasn't very strong and I had a lot of anxiety about moving around and testing out my muscles--especially around strangers, in a brand new environment. The fact that I accidentally wound up in the front row of my very first class about did me in with nerves alone! But then I received a text from the studio, checking in, asking how I liked the class. Well that helped my anxiety quite a bit and since then I've discovered that the studio has such good energy. Part of my long delay in starting to work out has been my aversion to typical gyms, and I've found this studio to be so much more inviting. The staff are so kind and the instructors are very encouraging, and take time to check in with everyone in class at various points. Each instructor has a slightly different style, in terms of the exercises they teach, the way they offer encouragement, and sometimes even the music they play. The exercises are low-impact and set to a rhythm, and are a combination of reps and holds. Sometimes the work is as simple as holding weight on your body and holding your body in a challenging position until your legs start to wobble and you need a break. I can tell a lot of thought and planning goes into each lesson, and as far as I can tell, all of the classes have been a little different from each other, which keeps them from becoming repetitive or predictable. The workouts are hard, but only as hard as you make them; you choose how heavy you want your weights to be and when to take a break during a flow of exercises. The instructors are very good at encouraging us to make the workout difficult for ourselves, but there is no pressure to do an exercise exactly the way it's demonstrated or the way anyone else does it. Since starting Barre, I've noticed that I feel stronger and it's easier to get up and down the stairs. My body is less achy than when I started and I'm more confident in my ability to move. And finally, I've found the classes to be a lot of fun. And that's coming from someone who would just as soon sit quietly with a book than exercise in a room full of people.
