I am 85 years old and would like to share my experiences over the past 12 plus years that I have had getting professional care at Advanced Acupuncture. I was skeptical also about acupuncture until the main reason I started going was I had Restless Leg Syndrome quite severe and I was told from my doctor there was no cure and gave me medicine to help stop it for a few hours at a time. After making an appointment with Dr. Nikki she had me healed in less than 3 months. I have continued seeing her over the past 12 years for many different issues and making sure that my organs are functioning properly. She had treated me for back pain, hip pain, 2 stacked discs, arthritis, injuries, and more of which all of the treatments have done wonders for me, I have also got to remember that it can take a number of treatments for my body to heal, meaning I can't expect to go in for just 1 or 2 treatments sometime. I always do as many treatments that she feels necessary, other wise I am wasting my time and money.
I look at it this way, acupuncture can get to the ROOT of my problems instead of a doctor giving me a PILL to help for a short period of time.
I have seen Dr. Nikki nearly every month for over 12 years, and and highly recommend her clinic and and wonderful staff. And I will add, she has now added more doctors and I can tell you She will not have anyone working for her that does not meet her high standards and treatment and care.
I highly recommend Advanced Acupuncture clinic, I would give them 10 stars if they were there, not just 5 STARS

I reached out in advance to ask if they accept my insurance. They said yes. Called me the day before to confirm saying nothing different. I go in and they finally tell me it's out of my network. Peggy took zero responsibility over her telling me they accept my insurer and willing to do nothing to correct the issue other than say "it's your responsibility" crazyyyyyy bad experience.
Update: After leaving, I went to find a new acupuncture place in my insurer's website, and they were the first people that popped up. So, being as heated as I was, I called to ask why that is. They asked for me to come back and apologized, so I decided to try. They were very nice, but unfortunately did not do a good job and I wouldn't be the wiser if I didn't have a great acupuncturist before. They tried to tell me a weekly visit is what is needed (untrue and didn't take account my history with acupuncture.) They feel like a money siphoning clinic. My review stands firm.

I am so pleased to have found Advanced Acupuncture! My back and shoulder pains are responding beautifully.
This review is for the front office staff. Extremely rude, unprofessional, condescending. Could not answer any of my questions and got angry that I even dared to ask. I nearly walked out of my appt. (but was sure she would bill me a no show fee). I don't think I'll be back because I do not need to feel belittled at my doctor's office.
This review is for the clinic manager/front desk staff. I've ran into multiple scheduling and billing issues here. I've also had a hard time getting ahold of the clinic via phone: calls not being answered or returned.. I was trying to be patient and understanding with them (small clinic and all) and kept coming back because I am happy with my provider.
However, when I brought this up to the office manager, she insinuated that I was lying. She also had a full meltdown over my appointment running late, which was THEIR scheduling issue, I came in on time.
The manager was beyond rude and unprofessional. She told me how inconvenient it was for her and front desk staff to stay late to accommodate me. She then flipped out on me again, over THEIR billing error. When I let her know that this is unacceptable and not my fault, she acted like it was no big deal and "just a misunderstanding". Needless to say, I've cancelled all my future appointments and won't be coming back.
If you can get past the worst customer service from the clinic manager, the providers here are really caring and genuinely want to help.
