I'm relatively new to the neighborhood and new to this Safeway. I've only been inside once and that was briefly to purchase a few items. It appeared to be clean and well stocked. Employees were friendly. I was a 20 year shopper at the Sprague and Evergreen store. I have almost everything delivered because of health issues so it may be a bit before I can give a more honest opinion.
