I wish there was an option for 0 stars. My fiance had to switch over to this pharmacy when RiteAid closed. It has been a chatoic hassle ever since, they can never refill when it's ready, they never contact you when there is an issue or shortage, the line is long and only 2 MAYBE 3 people, the workers are short with you and act like YOU are a nuisance to them, and they refuse to contact your provider for any issues that they are having with a prescription. I actually had to drop off a important prescription (antibiotic) Dropped it off then came back the next day and they could not find my paperwork it gave to the older white gal, with very short light hair. It was already after 5pm so the dentist office was closed, AND will be until after the 1st of Jan. So I would be screwed for a couple weeks. I do NOT recommend anyone using this pharmacy, no one cares about you or your medical needs, and just there for a paycheck. I should of read the reviews before he changed pharmacies, HEED THIS WARNING FOLKS.

Here’s your warning don’t use their Pharmacy. My fiancé and I had to switch pharmacist due to Rite Aid closing, and we came to this Safeway pharmacy instead and every single time we needed our prescriptions filled. There was always an issue, they never answer their phones, and they lost my prescription after I dropped it off. The guy couldn’t find it anywhere. I had to tell him what time and the person I handed it to, and he looked everywhere and couldn’t find it, which is really bad when it’s an anabiotic and it’s during a holiday when the offices are closed. On top of that, the customer service is lacking so much so that nobody can muster up a hello thank you or even a smile

Almost impossible to reach anyone by the phone at the pharmacy, they don't return messages and they've continually told my (90 year old) father that his prescriptions are going to be ready on certain days/times and they aren't and just tell him to come back later. He can't call to check if the prescriptions are ready, because no one answers. I never leave reviews, but leaving this one to everyone as a warning that you don't want to use this pharmacy.

Used the rite-aid pharmacy for at least 20yrs and when they closed recently I didnt think choosing one of the many pharmacys around 29th needed to be such a discion, but now I know to do some research befor choosing pharmacies from now on... Its extremely hard just to reach someone there over the phone... im not sure why they offer leaving voicemails, either they do not recive them, do not listen to them, or maybe listen but do not follow through with? When finally comming in contact either over phone or in person, ive unfortunately exsperinced nothing but miserable additude, and the very bare minimum service able to give. As others have mentioned, my first month after transferring prescriptions over, one of my main/most important prescription was not in stock when I went to pick it up... not only in those past situations have i been notified BEFOR I was there for them, especially for that level/sceudal of medication. But that specific shortage has been over for quite a some time... not to mention all the other pharmacies around that i called for a stock update, as exspected had them well in stock... Its just unfortunate the unexpected level of service provided in the pharmacy there.. and hopping it was maybe just a rough month for them, I continued some prescriptions there, but the pharmacy service has continued with no change or improvement...

I’m confused about why reservations are accepted for flu shots if timely service isn’t guaranteed. Had I known, I wouldn’t have scheduled one. When I arrived, the front desk staff could have informed me about the delay, but instead I was met with an indifferent attitude and told, ‘I’ll get to you when I can.’ I waited for 30 minutes along with other customers before leaving without being helped. This was frustrating and felt disrespectful of my time.
