The staff are always really nice but the pharmacy is obviously severely understaffed. Safeway needs to do better. In the year I've been coming to this pharmacy my meds have consistently taken almost an entire week to fill and they're not a controlled substance it's just a pretty general medication. Gonna have to switch pharmacies because of this unfortunately because people can't be going without their meds for that long.

I want to give a specific shout-out to Michelle for resolving an urgent prescription issue without missing a beat. I came in today to pick up a medication that is a pain to fill due to a complicated ordering process and very specific generic manufacturer requirements. Due to some issue this location wasn't able to fill it any more but Michelle pulled it up at a different Safeway store that had the right manufacturer generic in stock, and I was able to get it filled there almost right away. Basically instantly resolved an issue that would have otherwise led to a cumbersome refill-hunting process for me, thank you ❤️

The actual staff here are great. Safeway as a company though is absolutely awful. Every single store, pharmacy especially, is so short staffed they can almost never fill my scripts same day, there are frequent errors, etc. Tonight, I’ve called 3 times, each going to a voicemail box, until they literally just picked up and hung up my 3rd call. Not enough people to even answer a phone, and typically if they do I’m on hold for 20 min. It’s almost impossible to get help anymore unless you walk down there and wait in the insanely long line- also long because Safeway doesn’t schedule enough staff. And they simply don’t care either. Shame on this company.

The last two visits here: First I was told that it was too close to closing to fill my wife's post surgery meds even though I stopped by to let me them know they were critical, and would be called in shortly. hey tried to close the gates on me and sneak out. The second time I was notified that the prescription was ready, spent 15 minutes in a queue, then another 20 minutes while they attempted to locate it. I was told they would need to reorder it. I filled it elsewhere, but got a call the next day, letting me know it was now ready. Total chaos.

Why is reviewing my Medicare plan every year important?
Reviewing your Medicare plan every year is important because Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D) can change annually. By reviewing your plan during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, you can ensure it still meets your healthcare needs and budget—and switch plans if necessary.
