Honestly they're doing the best they can with the resources they have, and you can't blame the pharmacy for the fact that there is a high demand for medication. You can blame the pharmacy for billing you for a refill that they were out of stock of, thus preventing you from filling it at another Pharmacy without having to wait for them to cancel the refill on their end. Maybe this is standard procedure that I don't understand but first time for me and kind of annoying so yeah annoying.

I would give a ZERO rating of possible. This is by far one of the worst pharmacies I've ever had the displeasure to go to. Horrible customer service, no idea what they're doing behind the counter, rude, and unprofessional. My son is very sick and needs his medication. We called at 115p and were told they have it and it should be ready in about 10 min. We went in 10 mins later and were told by a different employee that they do not have the prescription and to call the doctor to verify (she was demeaning and rude but we did as she asked because we have no choice. ) The doctor confirmed that they sent the prescription AND that Safeway verified it at 1205p TODAY. We went back in and the same rude, angry woman tried to argue her point. We explained what the doctor said, then another employee (recognizing her voice as the one who took our earlier call), said, "no we did get that and it's ready to be filled", from behind the pharmacist counter before her and the other pharmacists walked out. The very rude counter worker then said, "you'll have to wait, we're going on lunch", and then closed the pharmacy rolling doors in our face. Luckily my son has the flu and we can transfer his prescription but for someone who might need life saving medication, DO NOT USE THIS UNCARING AND ILL INTENTIONED PHARMACY.

They've hired more employees and are becoming more efficient. Haven't seen the sour-faced lady in a while, so that's a bonus.

The pharmacy is actually not very good but sadly one of the few options in the area. Some stories/feedback: - My blood glucose sensor malfunctioned and I had to get prescription earlier. They promised they’d get it by next day but missed the deadline. - On a separate occasion I wanted to get a refill because of that faulty monitor but it was not due for a few days (its pharmacists call). Pharmacist made it sound like she placed the refill but she actually didn’t. So I waited a few days before realizing this. - The reason im actually spending time writing the review is that i just got out of surgery today and have to get prescription. Still waiting after the surgery, it’s been 50 minutes and the wait is because of a long line. Terrible.

I dont like the Safeway but the pharmacy is okay i dont get why everyone's complaining i had multiple prescriptions handled through there and they answered my 2 calls in the past just fine. And the employees are really nice... Maybe dont expect rush hour times to serve you over rush hour lines... -_-
