I’ve been associated with the LensCrafters store in Redmond for many years, and I couldn’t be happier with their service. They have a wonderful collection and provide excellent, transparent service with great value for money. I always go to Rudina—she is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and straight to the point. Every year, she guides me thoughtfully to get the best value for my needs. Both of my daughters love meeting her as well and appreciate her guidance on lenses, the latest trends, and optional add-ons. A couple of times, I had to go back and request major modifications to my order while it was already in progress. I walked into the store feeling quite anxious, but Rudina handled everything so efficiently and calmly that she made it work seamlessly. I walked out happy and smiling every time—thanks to Rudina. Overall, the store is fantastic, and Rudina is truly the best. Cheers, LensCrafters! If you want it shorter or more casual for Google reviews, I can tighten it up for you.

Worst customer service. There is a lady named Rudina here, she is the worst. She doesn’t know how to talk to customers. I understand she was busy, but that isn’t an excuse to be rude to customers.

I had an eye exam at Sexton Vision Group, located inside this LensCrafters location, and was told by my optometrist that a member of the LensCrafters team could measure my pupillary distance, which you need in order to purchase prescription glasses from online retailers. My prescription was handed to Rudina, who immediately asked if I would like to buy glasses as LensCrafters. I politely told her I was not interested in buying glasses there, and asked if she could measure my pupillary distance. She refused. She said she could only do that if I were buying glasses there. I realize she is a commission-based employee who stands to make money if I buy glasses from LensCrafters (owned by Luxottica, which has a near Monopoly on the prescription glasses industry and has been subject to antitrust lawsuits for artificially inflating prices). But I should be able to get all the information I need in order to buy glasses at whichever retailer I choose, even if it's not LensCrafters.

LensCrafters Redmond Town Center is not only a great location, it’s great for full service eye wear. Went again for yearly exam at same location and with the new eye prescription was able to immediately shop for new frames. Very convenient. Angela was really helpful in figuring out what frames were best suited for my face and counseled me on options and pricing that matched for my insurance and out of pocket budget. I bought 2 frames (one for sunglasses and one for regular glasses). Shopping at LensCrafters is easy and fun. I really like the LensCrafters team. Nice with wonderful customer service!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
